His success has come in Romania after a failed spell with Fiorentina, so it's hard to judge where he's at. A smaller set up might prove more beneficial at his age.

I think that would be inevitable. Last two notable youngsters had clauses (Ake & Thorgan), so it seems like the club are finally learning from past mistakes.

I'd honestly prefer Kenedy to take his place, if he is hell-bent on leaving. Couldn't care less if he signs or not at this point. I just can't stand players (youngsters especially) that expect the earth because of some interest rather than on merit. Do your talking on the pitch and the rest will follow.

You mentioned what the point would be and I've stated why. We needed Hazard massively whilst that couldn't be further from the case in regard to CHO. He had something to gain from not sulking, one way or another.

There are seemingly two constants going by reports over the last few months: 1) CHO wanting playing time (was effectively a starter mid Jan/Feb onwards). 2) CHO has rejected numerous contract extensions put forth by the club. Talk of Lamps being center of attention behind all of this needs to stop. Ball has been in CHO's court since Bayern showed an interest.

Fair enough. His actions thus far have push a number of people to that train of thought. Giving the benefit of the doubt isn't normally wise, especially where footballers are involved.

I've said for some time, there's more to this than meets the eye. Someone that has effectively done nothing shouldn't be toying around for demands. If he hasn't signed by the start of the season, I can see the club selling before the German window closes.

They will play on Saturday as well. I'd rather give players with promise extended game time over players that have no future.

Far too many players are out of their depth. Piazon couldn't even get into a relegated Serie A side weeks ago and here he is in the squad. Lamps needs to be cut-throat from the get go by getting rid of players that have no chance. Club need to stop holding onto duds in the hope of making the odd dime. Baker, Brown & Piazon are no longer kids.

To think DD's last game for us was almost 12 months ago. Crazy!

If the season were to start tomorrow, Michy should be first choice. We shouldn't be expecting/wanting to rely on someone in their thirties and Tammy hasn't shown anything at this level.

Izzy & Piazon being part of the squad gives hope to all. However, a number of players really shouldn't even be part of preseason tbh.
