  1. Henderson wasn't to be beaten. He might have had some dodgy moments so far this season, but he ought to be United & arguably England's number one.
  2. Frustrating night. The constant personnel change caught up to us.
  3. RLC is one thing due to a lack of options. There's no excusing his persistence in starting Havertz despite 2/10 performances.
  4. How on earth is Havertz still on the pitch?
  5. Flashbacks of last season's away fixture. He's giving his all. Very unlucky a moment ago.
  6. He should be nowhere near the squad to start with. Mount was dropped & he picked up his game, whilst Havertz has probably gotten worse.
  7. I'm pleased to see Broja get a deserved start along with Gallagher. How Havertz keeps his place again is beyond me.
  8. There's difference between wanting and actually making a bid. He's the closest to one in our squad.
  9. Who wanted him a number of months ago? Also, the idea of having no natural DMF at all would be crazy.
  10. Someone that's been actively contributing for a number of seasons. Hakimi delivered at Dortmund, Inter's best player during his spell, and has continued the trend at PSG. I'd better steer well clear of the second part of your post.
  11. I wouldn't because I believe the latter has a higher ceiling & has a connection with the club. I was just stating who I think is the better WB right now. I agree. My thought process was based on the position they both tend to play (WB), where defending is a second priority & they can get bailed out. Defenders in general are weaker than even a decade ago. The emphasis on attacking play has certainly played a part.
  12. Mismanagement and overreliance on him goes further back than that. Didn't Sarri essentially force him to play against Arsenal in the EL Final?
  13. If we're talking about WB, I still think Hakimi is ahead of him.
  14. I still think he's on the cusp. If he stays fit & keeps putting in such performances, there won't be a question in my mind.
  15. Brentford's frontline press like crazy, so Jorgi and Mendy passing to each other is a recipe for disaster. I'd keep what we have & hope those in front of Kepa can deal with what's thrown at them.
  16. It is sad to see him out for another lengthy period. I still believe he's the only WC player in our squad, but next summer will be the perfect time for both parties to part ways. There's no place for sentiment nowadays, especially when it comes to the club's highest earner or thereabouts.
  17. If he does keep it up, I don't see Mendy getting a proper chance tbh. It will be interesting to see what plans Potter has for Slonina in a matter of months too Most people will remember Kepa for his refusal to come off, no matter what.
  18. I think we should be in Leao & Kvaratskhelia if we aren't going for Osimhen (only potential WC CF around).
  19. I was there with you for other reasons, though. There isn't a chance another team will go unbeatable in our lifetimes.
  20. As I mentioned in another thread, he really hasn't put a foot wrong when called upon in the last 12 months or so. I'm pleased to see him bounce back & grab his chance to reclaim the number one spot. Still think Mendy should be number one, @Tomo ?
  21. Decisions like that are just going to keep him on the bench.
  22. This will be their second defeat against Liverpool this season. They generally have their number.
  23. It's nice to see Mount buck up his ideas as of late. Wish Havertz could do the same.
