You said technically limited. While Oscar and Matic aren't Modric/Fabregas/Pirlo level they are not technically limited. You might be right about us needing a bit more but I personally think that would come in the form on Reus or Pogba, neither over gifted players but power runners and goal scorers. Agree that without Fabregas we lack that creative spark, but that's why we have him. Ramires is the most technically limited player in our team, so I don't see how you don't want Khedira but want Ramires? As for whether Khedira is better than Ramires, that's down to opinion, so while I disagree entirely there's not much I can say to change your mind I imagine.

Wha? Have I missed something? Has Hazard said he wants to leave? Has Mourinho or the club said they want to sell him? Have Real even said that they want him? If no to all then it's a non-story that doesn't even deserve discussion. Hazard is a blue and I hope it always stays that way.
-
When are we expecting team news? Well done to the youngsters, they've set the bar high, hope the first team can replicate their dominance.
-
Really? Fabregas, Oscar, Hazard and even Matic would beg to differ. Khedira would be signed as a 3rd CM member to play alongside Matic & Fab, as a kind of upgrade from Ramires (which he is). His hard work around the park would allow the players further forward (Hazard and our RW - Oscar/Willian/Another) a lot more freedom than they currently have.
-
No, they're really not. Draxler definitely has the potential to be comfortably better than Willian but he's not ATM. And I really like Cuadrado, have liked him for ages being a follower of Serie A aswell as the BPL. But he is not comfortably better than Willian. He's about the same level, better going forwards but Willian is far better around the park, so it levels out. This is probably just grass is greener syndrome. Everyone has forgotten how effective he was for Shakthar going forwards, his constant hard work around the park for Chelsea (tracking back and the such like) has stifled this slightly but he does need to step it up even so, Oscar has managed great work at both ends of the pitch recently after all.

Would anyone be unhappy with: OUT: Salah (Loan/Transfer), Mikel (Transfer), Cech (Transfer ). IN: Young HG Keeper for 2nd Choice, any one of Khedira, Pogba, Varane, Hummels, Sterling or Reus (depending on prices and availability). Could promote Ake and Boga to the first team squad too to replace Mikel and Salah unless we get one of the aforementioned players.
-
I've always thought Sanchez was a great player yeah, and yeah he was great at Udinese, but then Willian was great at Shakthar who are arguably even better. So like I said it's no guarantee that he'd be as good as he has been. In hindsight yeah we should have gone for him over Willian/Salah/Schurrle but what happened happened. It's about the one player we've missed out on in the last few years so I can deal with that . And I don't know that he wasn't available, but he most certainly wouldn't have been available at the low(ish) price he was last summer, as Barca were actively trying to get rid last summer but weren't the summer before, even though you're right he hadn't ever settled. But like you said who knows.
-
I agree. He's turned out to be great. But you couldn't have predicted he'd be THIS good when he arrived. Also, we signed Willian in 2013, Sanchez wasn't available that year. By the time he was available (last summer) we already had Salah, Schurrle and Willian in the team... This just proves that we can't afford to miss out on Reus. If he leaves BVB for a BPL club other than us it'll be Sanchez x5. The guy is almost guaranteed to be brilliant wherever he goes.
-
We can only rest a maximum of 2 of our 4 best outfield players IMO (Matic, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa). Any more than that and we're asking for an upset.
-
If Reus goes to Bayern a small part of me will die. I'm really hoping that loyalty in football is not completely dead. I'm not saying he has to stay at BVB for the rest of his career, just not to their direct rivals. I'm really hoping he doesn't do that to BVB fans.

I'm begging you, please, just stop with the Thiago brown nosing.

Maybe he does have suggestions of how to fix the problem but probably cautious about sharing his opinion for fear of getting shafted by the media (and our own fans now it seems... deep joy) like he did after his original comments. His original comments which were, by the way, 100% true. I can't believe people are criticising him for correctly bringing up a ingrained problem in the club? Hopefully now it will either invigorate supporters to be louder or trigger reforms in the club. No guarantee of either, but we can hope. Burying your head in the sand doesn't make problems go away. He's brought a problem to light with not only Chelsea but the PL as a whole.
-
Haha and there was me thinking your phone had auto-corrected met to bit or something xD. That's a great story .
-
Is your brother Suarez? But yes I agree, he's not even the most dangerous striker at QPR ffs. And we've already played Arsenal, City and Man Utd this season.
-
United win. They're not a threat, they'll drop lots of points with their piss poor defence. If Man City start playing to their potential (and maybe sign another CB in January) then we could be in a fair bit of trouble.
-
What in the living fuck are Bentaleb and Chambers doing on that list?

http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/banned-qpr-defender-rio-ferdinand-could-play-against-chelsea--and-in-a-new-position-9830785.html "QPR goalkeeper Robert Green has warned John Terry that Bobby Zamora will provide his toughest test of the season so far."

Or even better, appoint me admin and let me ban you ;P.
-
But that's the thing though, it is broken. I understand that some people like controversy and everything but how can you watch this: Along with the woeful decision in the Newcastle vs City game not to give a penalty for Obertan against Kolarov. No-one likes feeling cheated and if refs aren't capable enough (they're showing they're not) then we need video technology to help them.
-
Had a dream last night that we won this 6-1 and Costa scored 4. Hazard and Schurrle getting the other 2. That better be deja vu!!
-
I do love a good Mourinho stat but let's be honest here, it's not hard. After all there's only 1 team in London, and they play in blue.
-
The ban was 1 game (2 yellow cards) and applies to all domestic games (so domestic league and domestic cups) so his ban was served against Shrewsbury on Tuesday.
-
Such an easy solution. If Del Bosque carries on being an arsehole then just before Costa is meant to travel to international duty he goes down in training with an 'injury'. Something like a tight hamstring or tight groin which is impossible to prove but bad enough to keep him out for just 10 days while he recovers. The old fuck couldn't do a thing about it. Diego has all the power here. I'm all for players representing their countries whenever they can but if VDB is going to be that stubborn and pig-headed then it's entirely his fault - he's bringing this onto himself.

Ah I see now. You're a closet Bayern fan . No other person in their right mind would suggest Benatia is the 3rd best CB in the world. It all makes sense now.
