What is the point of winning against City then lose to Palace? Just what is the point? Where is the spark in the team? It is great setting up the team but if you can't score for shit you are gonna winning fuck all. Now if we are trophy less this season in theory we would have had the worst season since 10-11. Coming close mean fuck all really, the team need to win trophy year in year out.

That chip he thinks he is Messi...
-
Yh agreed haha nationality play a part now? Costa could be Nigerian for all I care(no offense intended), this is a football club not a political organization. Well I don't know he banged them in regularly for Lyon too from really young and has improved over the year. What make you think we got the luxury of choosing the player that WE WANT OR THINK IS RIGHT FOR THE CLUB? btw if he is so bad like you said I am sure even if we bid 40m now Real wouldn't sell, and that say a lot doesn't it especially for a club with history of discarding world class players when they are not glamor enough. Even if it is Balotelli or Benzema or Costa, we WILL TAKE ANY OF THEM if it meant we can get rid all 3 of our strikers. Hell even Martinez will do.
-
Such as? Yh in French league, you never know. Sheva was never the same after his injury, who to say Falcao wouldn't be?
-
Sorry let me give you a list of strikers to choose from: Ibra, Lewandowski, Falcao, Cavani, Rooney, Van Persie, Suarez, Higuain, Benzema, Messi, Aguero. Take your pick
-
Falcao who is rumored to be 29 years old and just damaged his knee, for all you know he could be the Colombian Torres from now on.
-
GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL scored again when needed the most, can't say the same for the Spanish dude for us...
-
Just ran the whole pitch to make a vital sliding tackle, hard work is unbelievable.
-
Cavani is a pipe dream BPL defence is worse in Europe, apart from us and City and Arsenal earlier this season. Remember there was a point a few months ago when anyone can beat anyone(still sometime happens).
-
What has changed from 1 year here? What exactly? I thought the whole point of him going on loan was to become a better player in hope of breaking into our starting 11. Why Kevin didn't accept the role but people assume this guy would? He already came out hinting that he might be interested in moving to Everton permanently if they make CL or leave us for a starting place. That is before he even spend a season on the bench for us, so what has changed exactly that make him alter his thinking? If you have gone by that logic we would still have Mata and Kevin on the bench by now.
-
The same Southampton that messed it up against Spurs on the weekend? They also comprehensively beaten Liverpool earlier this season, doesn't stop them from getting thumped 2 weeks ago.

Club have met with his agent now apparently, we are trying to sign him before the WC. But rumors of £40m fee though, I thought he got £32m release clause
-
Loving everyone who think HE WILL STAY TO BE BACK UP, HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa So 1 year on, he got even better and now suddenly he will accept the bench role? If he can't even getting ahead of 3 shit strikers we got what is his chance of ever beating Costa? No one want him to be sold, he will want to leave like Kevin. He is not fucking Kalou sorry to get your hope up. So we have 3 options: 1. Sell him and sign top class striker and back up averages 2. Make him our no1 and sign back up for him 3. Tell him to be back up(unlikely to accept and eventually will leave) Option 1 most likely.
-
He can score 20 goals every season for all he does, we will still sign a Cavani/Costa and he will be benched
-
Louder and louder rumors of him being sold, there goes the Chelsea fan+wanting to become a legend aim. Just to show you guys that sentimental only exist for the fans AND NOT THE PLAYERS or the club or the manager. We as a club will do in the best of our interest to move forward and sometime that mean making unpopular decisions like this. So like I said don't get too attracted to any player at the club until they have been here for at least 4-5 years because most of them will just come and go, no point getting your hope up. The thing with Lukaku is that he is too laid back imo, having watch him in numerous games this season he is not the type of striker that try to win the ball back but rather waiting for others to create for him. He got a good finish but that is about it really, no aspect of his game is world class yet. And from a young age if you don't show enough potential you just have to go. For any youngster who wants to make it big at a club of Chelsea side, they need to REALLY SHOW IT FROM EARLY or being signed for huge fee. And by show it early I am talking about Varane style promise. The one that will catch attention of the football world not just promising one like Bertrands. Hell even Sturridge got overlooked despite scoring like what, 10 goals in AVB's time? I know we eventually regretted it but imo he would have never fit in with Jose anyway because he is NOT HARD WORKING. Btw just an interesting though, if Courtois and Lukaku both leave this summer we will actually have Hazard left as the main Belgian in our team, kind of surprising and unexpected considering the promises they all show 2 years ago.
-
Southampton went 2-0 up today and lost 3-2 to fricking Spurs, surely there is no hope for them at City...Arsenal might be able to hold them to a draw next week along with MU, by the time we beat Palace next week we could be 7 points ahead of them with them having only 2 games in hand.

Team scored 6, he scored 0, says it all really doesn't it. But then again he 'worked hard' yesterday, making runs so he will be able to live and fight another day
-
Gerrard is better than Lampard at some aspects, long range strikes, passing, defending but overall Lampard is more deadly going forward and they are both great in their prime.

This guy could become Coentrao to us, someone who always does the job when step in but never a regular/favorite for the manager which is fine I suppose.
-
Ivan could always move to CB but then yh Cahill is on great form too. I guess we just got to give him a miss. Shame like you said.
-
He said he didn't want to stay in France anyway so even if they have gone for him he would have rejected them
-
Yeah that but if you are a REALLY QUALITY player then it really doesn't matter that much, Cavani, Ibra, Suarez...etc all moved from managers to managers, system to system yet they keep getting better and better no matter what. Sometime those top bracket players are just that good they would produce in any system. Of course there are the likes of Torres, Drogba...etc who NEED to have a team built around them to flourish, so while they are great they are really not as complete as some other. Me too, I hope Jose stays but if he goes eventually Pep or Carlo come in wouldn't be too bad. Also remember it isn't fully up to him but also Roman.
-
Lukaku is going to be sold or loan again in the summer, you guys think he will be back up to whatever striker we sign? what has changed after 1 year for him if he didn't want to do that now? £20-£25m for him I think. Also the Torres issue, no one want him or at least paying him £175k per week so he will probably stay for 2 more years. His wages+ Eto'o+ big money signing and we got a massive problem on our hand.
