I am not. In fact i'd love to see Iva as CB and Luis, Azpi on their natural positions at the same time. But i think Jose has his favourites and he rarely drops them, especially in the back four he loves stabillity. Maybe it's early for Jose to think Luis as a starter in PL and having to play CL football and cup competitions also plays a role to that.

He has been always a monster in big games. Luis is kind of new to PL. At least this is my opinion on what Jose is thinking.

Jose will not bench Azpi in a game like that. He wants Azpi's mental attitude in these games. Also for him to bench Brana for the sake of Luis is not impossible to happen although very unexpected. On Wednesday it will be Luis who plays though.

I understand what your point is, this is why referred to the team's overall status. Previous seasons a lot of key players started declining from a point after. We played without a real striker even! I think Brana's good start this season (and hopefully the whole team's) can be extended/maintained because we are much more balanced.

Imo he has improved a lot on his crosses and his link up play. The team overall is better than recent seasons and he may benefit and extent that good start now. Time will tell but so far i don't really see any signs of decline.

Spot on. I think off the ball we were the best i've ever seen this season. Offensively we were very casual at times after Oscar's goal. Not much intent was shown until Andre came in. Like we were overly relaxed because of our lead (surprise surprise eh?). But we had our chances and their GK responded well. Nothing to worry about. Oscar MOTM for me. Not only that goal is sublime and has to be rewarded, but his pressing/work rate was impeccable. November here we come :blue scalf:
