Yes and this is why it's not so much a big deal now, but let's hope until that happends the other players don't lose their patience. Can be catastrophic to be stigmatised as the "selfish one".
Wesley is quality every1 knows that , but if this is true then surely Man City don't really care about long term solutions which is good for us i suppose.
Let's not take it to the extreme though. He can definitely start games because he offers something different from all our other AMs. I certainly don't like the attitude when for example Drogba and Cesc (if i remember correctly) are both completely unmarked and he chooses to twist and bend and score the impossible solo goal. But like i said before he is hungry for goals and does the runs the way Willian isn't for example and this is his value right now. He just needs to relax a bit and understand that not only goals are evaluated in a positive manner by the manager. And that is perfectly understandable. What are you supposed to do if in a team sport your team-mate is constantly looking to impress alone?
1st half was an abomination bar the goal. 2nd half was not that good but better and that was enough to get us the 3 points without any heart attacks. Thank Huddlestone for that also. I mean, if i was a Hull fan i would be infuriated right now by their performance. We were vulnerable today and they did not threatened once! Hazard MOTM for me. His decisiveness made the winning goal coupled with a little bit of Brana magic. Great performance by the later also. 2nd half Costa was pleasing to see and after scoring let's hope the beast is on the right track again. Willian was awful, it's plain and simple. Oscar and Luis so and so. Matic, Mikel average. GC is going through a rough patch. P.S.: Need to cut the diving, it's a disgrace. If Mikel was indeed booed that's also a disgrace, ...and Foy is the ultimate disgrace!
Many of those shouldn't even be on the bench for this: Hazard, Willian, Oscar, JT, GC, Iva, Azpi, Tibo, Matic, Cesc, Diego. This is a perfect match to get the youth and regular subs more minutes.
Obviously he needs a rest. Shocking performance, but that's not the end of the world for him. He is tired that's all. It's perfectly fine for us to have Zouma replace him from some 2 or 3 matches. Not so sure if Jose thinks the same way though.
Plus it's not only physical fatigue, but also mental because when you try to score or create chances and the goals aren't coming frustration comes into the game and can affect your decisions, and that's not only true for Eden but for all the players. He (and the others) needs to be more ruthless when we have control. More goal hungry and more efficient in the box. Why did we threw away our great first ~20 minutes of possession like that, i'm never going to understand. It was looking great, he and Willian in particular were looking great and i saw and said to myself that i was sure we were going to score soon.
Diego should had been replaced by Remy at some point. He had a bad first half and Remy scored the game before so he would have better momentum coming in.
Why are we bashing Mikel? I thought he was more than decent replacement. And please explain why he should have scored? Because that should be a very classic Mikel scoring header?
