But some of these egos might want to be a part of the side that wins things. Look at Lukaku three years ago when he joined the club that he grew up supporting.. he hardly played at all during our winning Champions League campaign.. and as a result he didn't want to touch the trophy or anything because he felt that hadn't contributed to the team enough to be able to do that. On the other hand, Andre Schurrle said on Friday Night Chelsea TV that it's good to have big competition for places in the starting XI because it will make the players work harder to get into the team, and hopefully, they will show us fans what they're all about talent-wise. Mourinho has a massive headache to deal with this season.. I truly believe that we don't need Willian, but from all the YouTube videos et cetera, he looks sexy on the ball, and can do a lot with it. I however, wouldn't say no to big competition within the team, so that the players can become the best they can be, and thus building a huge future for our club.

But can you keep them all happy?

Sp*rs fans should just shut the fuck up and carry on watching their 5th placed side playing on channel 5. That's where they end up every other season... winning absolutely fuck all and their fans seeing their filth of a side being dragged along by Gareth Bale, which he won't be doing for much longer!

It's a possiblilty... ...I don't agree with this Willian move at all. I think it's pointless because we don't need him, but KDB could be steered towards a loan move if he felt the pecking order was too conjested and he won't get much playing time. A loan move to a Serie A club like Napoli would be interesting for him. They already have a Belgian player at the club Dries Mertens, whom they signed from PSV, so he'd settle in quickly and get plenty of game time... ...but that's IF he decided a move on loan would be the best option for him. Unless Willian really wants to join Chelsea and add his quality to the side. I can see KDB going out on loan again... which to some degree I don't want to see because against Hull, he looked outstanding, and a player that Mourinho wants to see more of.

This is what I think will be our side should Willian sign... Employ a 4-2-3-1 ... Torres or Lukaku to play up front, Willian sitting as a centre forward, Hazard and Mata both play as attacking midfielders on either side, with Oscar dropping to a deeper role alongside either Ramires or Lampard. The problem is with that, is that this is a strong side... where do you put people like Schurrle, Van Ginkel or De Bruyne?? I don't think Hazard and Mata are rotational players.. they are indispensable game winners, and that's where the headache will lie for Mourinho. As a result of this, Mikel, Moses and probably Ba will all leave, and De Bruyne will.. at the last possible minute.. agree to a loan move somewhere. And we fight tooth and nail to get Rooney.. if not, then it's not the end of the world, as we will already have Torres, Willian, Schurrle and Lukaku as possible forwards.

I do hate to sound negative over all of this, but after reading a fair bit of the guardian article above, I have this feeling in my stomach that Tottenham might report us for tapping him up... ...probably won't happen at all, but it's just a mere feeling.

That's not a bad thought.. I never saw Oscar as an attacking midfielder anyway. He's more of a centre mid with bags of pace. What annoys me, is that Mata does not need any pressure to keep his place because he's already made the CAM spot his own. Why bring in like for like? If it's any position we need new recruits, it's CDM. Whatever happened to signing De Rossi from Roma?? ... or are we gunna let Arsenal have him!?

If we sell Mata and sign this guy, it will have been the biggest mistake we have ever made. Mata ... Chelsea player of the year in both seasons he has been here, and we're handing him to our biggest title rivals on a plate ... I'll just give you that food for thought! Jose needs to somehow deny ALL of the above!

I honestly thought Mikel was going to Napoli or Galatasaray, and we were going in for De Rossi as a replacement. ... that was until everything went quiet.

He had a loan spell at Everton that didn't work out.. he's been at Sporting for 9 years so that makes him eligable to play for Portugal if he wanted to. He also speaks fluent Portuguese so team talks with Mourinho wouldn't be a problem for him at all. Talent wise.. I read that he was meant to be the next Tony Adams.. a loanee at best anyway.. he'd never shift Luiz, Cahill or Ivanovic.. not at 19 years. Maybe the long-term replacement for Terry? Who knows!

I should hope so! Why would a world class striker like Rooney wind up at a club that's never won a trophy in eight years? He may be world class but he can't surely carry a team to a championship on his own! He's certainly not stupid either!

Deadline Day can't come soon enough... I say that because I truly believe this saga is going to wind on until that day. I just hope Arsenal don't end up snatching him.
