  1. The only good thing about my team is that Mignolet kept a clean sheet and Agbonlahor has got an assist!
  2. If that does happen, I'm holding you responsible!
  3. Oh well, it's how you learn. I'm starting Agbonlahor now. 4-3-3 alongside Aguero and Lukaku!
  4. As Ollie said, He won't get very many points against Arsenal or Chelsea, so that's why he's there
  5. Won't be surprised if he actually leaves to be honest. Everton have been looking at him.
  6. Not a bad idea that.. I've always wanted to get a punch bag and some gloves!
  7. Well, it would shut up a lot of critics, saying about Jose's second coming being unsuccessful and a flat out failure! Even Mark Lawrenson predicted that outcome, which is surprising because he tends to talk positively about Chelsea's chances... about 80% of the time.
  8. They won't win the league with just Rooney! They never did when they had RVP. A true, togetherness of a squad wins you a title.. not a single individual who happens to be a frontman.
  9. If so, we'll probably have to start calling them Rooney FC.. he'll have to carry their team into the top four, just like RVP did!
  10. Spot on there! Arsenal might still not make the group stages of the Champions League if they don't get past Fenerbahce, and if he joins them... well... he'd look like a right mug wouldn't he??
  11. Is it still not too late to enter this? I have my team already made up, I just need to get the code and all of that, so I can enter my team!
  12. For me, a guy named Richard! I'd like throw however many darts needed to cover his entire smug scouse boat!
  13. £35m is attainable, if we are ruthless enough. I honestly think Martinez would be an easier option than Rooney... just because United are being stubborn as mules over his future at the minute. Just say "fuck it" and try to sign this guy!
  14. I refuse to be drawn by journalists giving hints about a move. When it breaks on the official website, I will believe it. Until then...
  15. I'll laugh my ass off if that's true! Poor old Arsenal
  16. This is my exact mindset of the whole situation. I don't expect Rooney to sign for us... at all! Though it could potentially lay down a marker for the season, it's not our only way forward in terms of strengthening the squad. We have good enough options up front that Mourinho can get the best out of. Torres, Lukaku and Ba are all capable of setting the club alight with regular goals.
  17. Same as my TalkChelsea name... you can't miss it really! I could do with some more followers there because they'll find out from there if I've uploaded new content to my channel! 361 followers currently.. very optimistic about gaining 400
  18. Not my preferred choice, but he wouldn't be a bad signing... ... an exquisit penalty taker!
  19. Thinking about it, we'd probably be saying the same about Rooney down the line. The fact that he is "angry and confused" immediately tells you that he's not right in the head somewhere.. so straight away, very negative mindset. On top of all that, he's probably going to cost us £35-40 million to sign him.. so the way it's going right now, we could potentially add Rooney to a list of blunt, overpaid strikers, which is already being occupied by Svevchenko and of course, Torres. Eto'o has worked with Mourinho before, has bundles of experience in the top competitions, and players like Lukaku can learn from him. And we'd save so much money in the process. ONE positive to come from signing Rooney would be the benefit of more English contingent, but that doesn't say a whole lot. I'd love it if we could sign Rooney, but I'm not expecting it!
  20. So even before a ball is kicked, you're losing faith in one of our favourite sons because he signs one player!? Seriously, grow up, and look at it positively. We signed a 31-year-old Juliano Belletti, instead of Dani Alves 7 years ago, and it proved to be a useful utility signing.. come the end of his career, he left the club as a huge fan favourite. Have faith son, Mourinho has a good set of players and he knows what he's doing! If we couldn't sign Rooney or Suarez, I'd be happy with Eto'o for a year or so. Not the best signing, no.. but not a bad one either!
  21. I've been feeling horrible this last month... ...can't stop thinking about my Swedish lady friend, who has since been erased from my life. I've not spoken to her in a month because she got together with another English guy (who was previously married when she started talking to him) ...yup, life sucks sometimes! oh, forgot to mention, the guy she's with ... a red bindipper!
  22. What really annoys me, is that some people last season were saying that loaning Essien out was one of the worst things we could have done, and they were all wishing he was there during our bad run under Benitez, saying "if we had Essien, we wouldn't be leaking so many goals!" Essien has played a couple of games during pre-season, and now they're all saying he's useless. FFS it's pre-season... none of this shit matters according to Mourinho. Let's watch Essien in the first few matches of the season, and then decide! He might be 30, but Essien has been here a long time and could prove to be a very useful utility player... it's not often we have a player who can play multiple positions. Mourinho knows him well, and he'll know what to do with him.
