Dicked by yet another club president then ... Aulas, Calderon, De Laurentiis ... the list is endless *sigh* The good thing is, we haven't spent big money on an unproven striker, which we have done twice before, and have regretted it, so I'm glad this one hasn't happened for us. Time to give Lukaku some games... give him his dream Jose!

63M for Cavani is just stupid and ridiculous, surely he's not worth that amount of money! But I do hope that we don't let Man City lay their hands on him, and we get their second fiddle striker Edin Dzeko at the end of it... that would be like them spanking our arses! It's bad enough we lost to them back to back in the States last month, which... dare I say, was a stupid tour in the first place, no offence to anyone who went to those two matches and enjoyed them! And 35M for Higuain!? ... I almost choked on my sandwich seeing that! ... and at the end, I laughed!

This is so pointless... and typical from our joke of a board! Can't even agree on something for a player that we don't even need! I'd much rather try and strike a deal for Rooney or Cavani... players who play in a position that we need people for... not wingers!! We don't need Schurrle! I'd rather see KDB return to us and save £20m than sign a player with the same attributes as KDB and blow £20m! That's like buying a PS3 game.. giving it to your mate to try out and play, before you play it yourself, then buying another PS3 game to play while the other game you bought is still being played by your mate! Then you let the mate who has your first game, give it to another mate for him to play! You never get to play that game while that game is being passed around, and then as a result, it's a waste of money! Poor analogy, but it's the same thing as the De Bruyne situation! It's stupid!
-
Did you not read my reason why?? I did write it in my post! He's terrible for us, but if we loan him out he'll learn something... I agree to selling him too, if the idea were to be brought up!

I reckon this is my favoured "In-Out" activity for this summer... Out Moses (Loan) Torres (£20m)* Essien (£7m) Marin (£2m) Mikel (£10m) Courtois (Loan back to Atletico) McEachran (Loan to a Premier League club) Benayoun (£1m) In Cavani (£34m)* Fernandinho (£24m) Mangala (£8m) A new backup keeper Lukaku (Loan Return) I honestly don't feel we should make "wholesale" changes to the squad. Getting a world class striker is an absolute MUST! I don't care how much he's worth, bring Cavani in for £34m plus Torres... I reckon that makes sense!! I reckon a new centreback with pace is needed! Mangala is a good option... I can see him and Cahill forming a mouthwatering partnership together at the back.. they can both emulate the days of Terry and Carvalho during Mourinho's first stint as manager.. with Cahill's no-nonsense tackling, and Mangala's pace to get the ball forward. Put David Luiz in a DM role alongside Fernandinho, who's just immense for Shakhtar, and tore us apart at the Bridge when we played them in the Champions League last year! Lukaku should return from his loan at WBA, and he can rotate with Cavani as lone striker for matches... McEachran should go out on loan again to a different club.. preferably in the Premier League because I don't think any of our loanees learn anything when they get loaned to the championship! I think maybe a move to Southampton for McEachran would be ideal because their club have an amazing youth academy, and know how to bring up young talent! I think Moses should also go out on loan, because no way am I a fan with his style of play... he just doesn't have a football brain at all! He loses the ball too easily, which makes his decision making non-existant. When Hazard plays, the ball gets stuck to him whether he's running fast or going slowly.. Moses is nowhere near that quality! As for Marin and Benayoun... I don't feel they're quality! Marin has excuses because his career at Chelsea has been injury stricken, and has had trouble shifting the "three amigos"... so, another "Zhirkov" type aquisition! Benayoun on the other hand, is just... well... cack! Essien and Mikel both need to go as well, because their good days have gone now, and need to be sold to reduce the wage bill! Also, a backup keeper is needed, now that Hilario is leaving in the summer... surely we can't have just Turnbull as the alternative if Cech for any reason gets an injury! I would have said "bring back Courtois", but at the moment, he's far too good to be considered a "backup"... he should go back to Atletico on loan for another season. I mean, even if we snap up a keeper like Robert Green from QPR (yes, uncanny name, I know), but it's not bad for a backup keeper. Begovic from Stoke is another decent option, but like Courtois, he's far too good to be second choice, and I don't even think we're favourites for his signature anyway... Man United will probably get him. This is what my Chelsea team would look like for the 2013-14 season then: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... David Luiz to be our long-term future captain after Terry and Lampard have left at the end of the season....
-
If this happened two years ago, I would have absolutely said yes! This year... "no"... I am a huge fan of Sneijder, but he just would not fit into our team! Keep the "Mazacar" trio intact... we don't need any more players to come in and break it up! If, for arguement's sake, we happen to sell 2-years-running Chelsea fans' player of the year Juan Mata, and get Sneijder... that would be the worst bit of business we have ever done!
-
So after all the speculation about Cavani... all us supporters hoping and wishing for someone like him to come... now it's 8/11 on for us to sign Man City's second-fiddle striker behind Aguero and Tevez for an amount needed for City to sign Cavani instead...! BULL... SHIT!
-
Damn it!! Oh well... I don't give a shit... I'm just too ecstatic to care!
-
I don't know if anyone has seen this already but....
-
THE SPECIAL ONE IS HOME! I don't need to say anymore!
-
This is a superb video reminiscing all the past glory days of Mourinho! I want all of this back, and more!! :cfc: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8_zr0M_h_Q
-
Schurrle will be the only player that Chelsea sign without Mourinho's consent! I bet all signings after him will be who Mourinho wants!
-
Not if Monaco have anything to say about it!
-
Well said, I think that's what made him leave Chelsea last time... because Abramovich dictated proceedings by taking control of what happened at the club, and Mourinho didn't like it one bit... hence the fallout! If we just let Mourinho get on with it... i.e. build a philosophy for the future, buy the right players, get us silverware, there won't be any problems! That's why I've said things like "don't believe what the newspapers say about some of the players' futures" ... if Mourinho states that they want them to stay, they will stay... all the papers do is churn out bollocks that brainwash supporters into thinking the worst, and it's so easy for them to get the wrong impression!
-
Mourinho is a club manager, though! I don't see him as a national manager at all!
-
How about for the rest of his career? Much better sounding than having a different manager every other season! We want to stop that revolving door from swinging!!
-
Not sure if I agree with that or not! I think Luiz is a workhorse in DM, and can do good if not better in that position than DR can ... scores exceptional goals from there as well, just look at the ones against Fulham and Basel as examples! And let's not forget... he enjoys his football and is one of the happiest football players in the Premier League.. Italian midfielders struggle in the BPL (in 'this' generation anyway.. I know RDM and Zola were gods back in the 90s), but just have a look at how Aquilani faired for the bindippers!
-
I honestly hope this doesn't happen, because it would only strengthen the rumors of Luiz moving to Barca or Napoli ... ... and Luiz is better than De Rossi!
-
They said good stuff like this about De Bruyne last summer.. we signed him up, and now he's out on loan! Now it seems like we might sell him! I feel it could be the same for this guy if we sign him! Totally pointless if I'm honest!
-
... don't forget Lukaku!
-
I take it that's a disagreement?? Remember when Lewandowski completely ripped Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid apart in Dortmund with 4 goals... kinda similar to when Didier Drogba for Marseille scored against Mourinho's Porto side some 9 years ago... consider it an omen! Mourinho brought him in at Chelsea, and look what Drogba achieved! That's the way I'm looking at the whole thing! If Mourinho does trigger his second coming at the Bridge, I would sign Lewandowski up in a heartbeat! If Mourinho thinks he's good, he must be good! Sure, his last season at Real was a black mark in his managerial career, but we all know he can manage big egos!
-
I seriously don't understand why Falcao would want to join a recently Ligue 1-promoted club with no European Football guaranteed ... he would clearly be going for the money, surely! Not that I would want Falcao to join us for a ridiculous amount of money or anything, but I just think it's stupid! Then again, Lewandowski is a much better, and a cheaper option than him... otherwise he wouldn't have slammed 4 past Real Madrid this season! ... did I mention he's three years younger than Falcao??
-
... and get Lewandowski, who in my opinion, is better than both put together!
-
So many embarrassing ones as well, a la Southampton!
