Happy that King Didier is back... ...not so happy about the fact that a very hot-form Lukaku will want to move on after this... if we sell Lukaku, it makes it even more difficult for us to comply to FIFA's homegrown rule! Cole and Lampard.. two of our English players have already gone so that alone gives us a big problem... I hope our young English players don't get loaned out!

Sell hazard to PSG ... so we can sign a 29-year-old Lavezzi! I seriously can't believe this is even being considered possible... if the above deals ever go through, our board would have sunken the lowest they have ever gone! Would Barcelona ever consider selling Lionel Messi to Manchester City so they could sign James Milner??

Salah is a great player, don't get me wrong.. I just don't feel as though he's a key player... utility at best. Schurrle impressed me a lot and I think he should play more games, particularly on the right side. But Hazard will be our far-out marquee player next season, and Mourinho knows that!

Pogba would be an interesting signing it has to be said... I sure hope he's replacing Ramires in the team! Him alongside Matic would be utterly ridiculous!

I definitely see your point! Though the only positive would be for the club to be highly profitable on players we signed some few years ago. Hazard is an exception.. we can't keep selling our club player of the year all the time, it's ridiculous! I think the problem lies in Mourinho to be honest. Strike me down for making such a rancid claim, but I fear that we are going to end up selling a majority of our most penetrating attackers, and start signing more "deep-lying" players solely due to the fact that Mourinho is a "defensive manager". He always has been! It's like we're going backwards! We realise our attack ethic hasn't been working in key games, suddenly we're going defensive again, grinding out results.... but then why would you try to sign a top class striker like Diego Costa, sell your attacking midfielders (a la Hazard/Oscar), and have no service to assist him?? Maybe we're wasting bucket-loads on Costa just so he can become another Shevchenko! Mourinho, as a Chelsea fan, you know how much I love you... but you clearly don't understand the ways of my dream of seeing Chelsea play fluent attacking football. They say you should "never go back to a previous club".. I'm starting to understand that statement now!

I think it was inevitable that Eto'o would be one of the summer exits. I acknowledge his services and important goals for us this season, but to pay huge amounts a week for a player in his mid-30s was always going to be a risk not to take.

Fair argument.. a team's season can only be judged by their overall form. If it's close, everyone has got improvements somewhere, if you're outright winners, you have the outstanding team, but there is always something to improve on.

I actually agree with LDN Blue on this. You simply have to look at results against some of the lesser teams we faced at home... West Ham, Sunderland, Norwich... all teams you would expect us to deliver easy points from. Instead we only get 2 out of those three home games. As I have said time and time again this season, there just simply isn't enough penetration up front, and we don't punish teams fully like City, Liverpool and (dare I mention them) Arsenal have done. All we get given to us is our own punishment from the opposition and we're left wondering why we never took our chances. Priority one... WE NEED TO SIGN A STRIKER THIS SUMMER! Someone who can pierce open a defence and score for fun, like Suarez, like Aguero, like van Persie... Drogba was world class all those years ago.. but I look at the strike force now, and I would NOT hesitate to let go of all of them. Torres is a liability and only has a few good spells in a season (not a consistent one), Eto'o was only a stand-in signing for free in case Torres got an injury... scored great goals which I commend to great acknowledgment, but he'll be going pretty much this summer due to the fact that he's "not young"... and Demba Ba may have scored some important goals himself, but in no way is he a first choice starter. For a team like Newcastle? Yes.. but not for Chelsea. The best case scenario for us, would be to see us sign Diego Costa for £32m, and see us bring back Romelu Lukaku, and have Mourinho rotate the two during matches. I only say that because the two can't play in the same team with the tactics we use now. However, both are penetrating strikers, and both KNOW how to put the ball in the back of the net. Next season, Chelsea start banging them in like the good old Drogba years.... happy days! Thankyou and goodnight!
