One of the cruelest football matches I have ever watched as a Chelsea fan! I know this was supposedly a "glorified European friendly" but if you look at the performance from our players today, clearly it was anything but... Too bad we got dicked over by a Busquets wannabe (Martinez).. and we ended up losing on penalties on the last pen, due to the fact that Lukaku felt he had the world on his shoulders! So many people on twitter have started hating on him and saying "RIP to his career" ... it's sickening to see it! It takes courage to take a penalty like the one he took! ... Plastic supporters slate him and hate him ... real supporters back him, and the rest of the team for their stout display! I'm proud of the whole team! We did NOT deserve to lose that game! .. but football can be a cruel like that!

Still scratching my head over Eto'o .. We could have gone for someone better but no good fighting tooth and nail over it when the deadline is getting close now. I'm so sick of the media branding the whole "Mata being dropped" as exit speculation. FFS he's not 100% fit and that's why he hasn't been playing! (And Luiz) Anyone who says that the transfer market should be shut before the opening game of the season is absolutely right. All the media do is write a lot of nonsense to unsettle the players in question, and it's annoying! Soon as one player misses three games, suddenly there's speculation on whether he will leave! ... and the Willian transfer news certainly doesn't help matters, (pardon the pun). After all of this, I hope Mata stays and announces his long term commitment, saying that he is willing to fight for a place in the side. Seriously, if I were Mata, I would stay and work insanely hard among a group of players all trying to get into Jose's team. It will make him even more of a better player, and he'll be guaranteed to win more things under Mourinho. If he goes to Arse or Sp*rs, then I will lose all my respect for him! Good luck trying to win things with a team who's never won a trophy in 8 years!
