  1. Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero, but Ancelotti says he is not chasing the Argentine ace. "No it is not true," said Ancelotti about interest in Aguero. ------------------------------------ Source:- SkySports ------------------------------------ It's gone, I have officially admitted defeat. Aguero's not coming
  2. 0944 BST: Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho says it would be "a dream" to join former boss Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid. "If there was a possibility to sign with Real Madrid, I would go there right now swimming or running," he said in an interview published Saturday in Spanish sports newspaper AS. (Agence France-Presse) Well if he really said that then he's definitely leaving us I think!
  3. Carlo Ancelotti is preparing to let Chelsea starlet Franco Di Santo go as he looks to bring in another big-name striker this summer. Dutch club Feyenoord want 21-year-old Di Santo while Wigan, Blackburn and FC Twente are also interested in the Argentinian forward. Di Santo was loaned out to Blackburn last season and Chelsea are likely to only be open to loan deals this time. But it is a clear sign that they want another forward to compete with Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka as England under-21 prospect Daniel Sturridge is their only other option. Chelsea are keen on Liverpool's Fernando Torres but Anfield boss Roy Hodgson insists he is going nowhere. Chelsea are also looking at Inter Milan's Mario Balotelli who is a £24m target for big-spending Manchester City who remain favourites to sign the temperamental 19-year-old. Inter president Massimo Moratti said: "At this moment there are contacts with Manchester City, but we must find an agreement that satisfies us and them." ------------------------------ Source:- Mirror Football ------------------------------ Nothing about getting Neymar or Aguero??
  4. Seriously, I believe every time someone posts in this thread, I look forward to a report...
  5. Chelsea's attack was hideously poor! Di Santo was nowhere to be seen half the time. Although his sub-replacement Lalkovic looked really promising, and he's very quick with the ball. Sturridge apart from his goal didn't do much either, just a few runs near the penalty box, and then he was easily robbed. Matic was superb. I thought he held the ball up really well. Tackled well, moved very fluently in the centre and provided well for the forwards, it was a shame he got closed down a lot for him to do any of the providing. There was some shaky moments in defence. Turnbull was probably the worst because as ZanSnake said he was at fault for the first two goals. Hilario was a lot more stable than Turnbull in the second half, he dealt with a lot of aerial balls into the penalty box with no problems at all. If I was Carlo, I'd pick Hilario for West Brom in August primarily because he is much better at decision making. Overall, I'd rate today's performance 5 out of 10. A helluva lot to improve on in the next game I think.
  6. The only real known player who's playing today is Essien... everyone else is from the youth setup or 2nd choice, so no Terry, Drogba, Lamps etc..
  7. Lalkovic on for the Dire Di Santo! and what's that injury to van Aanholt?
  8. Great signing!! I actually really hope this happens!! He's an excellent player going forward, and plays in all midfield positions, very handy signing indeed! Definitely has my thumbs up! Hope Aguero/Neymar is to follow! :blue scalf:
  9. Half Time 1-2 Performance = absolutely crap!!
  10. Turnbull what a fucking tool!! :censored:
  11. Nice to see our youngsters getting a chance to start! I hope that's what will happen! does anyone know if this game will be free to watch on Chelsea TV??
  12. what a bunch of Losers! They should stop poking the rise out of us and carry on with their day job! Wankers!
  13. And another one goes on the list...... :censored:
  14. Chelsea are on the brink of a deal for Benfica midfielder Ramires. Blues sources have told A Bola that management are confident of an agreement within days. Chelsea have tabled a £20 million offer for the Brazil international. Manchester City have also been linked, but Benfica insiders insist no concrete offer has arrived from Eastlands. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to welcome Ramires after losing Michael Ballack, Joe Cole and potentially Deco this summer. ---------------------------------- Source:- Tribal Football ---------------------------------- Hmmmmm
  15. They don't need Aguero. United have already said they don't need to strengthen their squad so I don't think they'll go in for him
  16. 'When I knew Liverpool were interested it was a no-brainer because they are the biggest club in the country'. Fuck you Joe!! You might as well chuck three League winning years aside then... hope you rot in the Europa League!!
  17. I know you were mate just thought I'd correct myself anyway :tophat:
  18. Christ almighty! I did mean "younger" than all three put together! Obviously a typo I forgot to correct! Sorry about that
  19. Yeah exactly, unfortunately no such report has mentioned something remotely as promising as that, so do we even bother thinking about Aguero joining us now?
  20. One thing I love about Ramires is his speed, and his all round ability to dodge defensive challenges. He's very much like Joe Cole in a way, and can deliver a real killer pass. I think that's what we lack in midfield you know, someone who can dictate play and offer the speed in attack. Now that Cole, Ballack (and almost certainly at least until Monday, Deco) are gone, I think Ramies will make up for it, and more because he's older than all three of them put together. If we honestly can't get Aguero; then Ramires and Neymar would be two players I'd love to see wearing blue.
  21. My god you guys are quick! Ramires would be a smashing addition to our squad!!! But I'm worried about Man City going in for him
  22. Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has hinted at more additions to follow the capture of former Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun. Buck admitted Chelsea were "looking at some things", having released Joe Cole, Michael Ballack and Juliano Belletti, and with Deco being heavily linked with a move to his native Brazil. Benayoun, signed from Liverpool, is the club's only summer acquisition thus far, but Buck does not envisage "anything major" in terms of transfers. "We're very happy with the squad we have now," Buck told the Guardian, "so if there are any more additions, it will be fine-tuning. Whether or not they'll work out, who knows? We'll just see how it goes over the next six weeks." ------------------------------------- Source:- Tribal Football ------------------------------------- It's from a shitty source.... but it's interesting to read!
