Agreed, the morale to it all is, we should have protested in Kenyon's decision to leave. Ron Gourlay is a walking disaster to this club, he was the one who drove Ray Wilkins out, and ever since then we've forgotten how to win a game.

Absolutely!! Plus a fact I don't see a better replacement than Carlo Ancelotti if I'm truthfully honest. Benitez is nowhere near as disciplined as Carlo is, regardless of what he achieved at Liverpool. We need to buy "a majority" of players, not just ONE! There are a few positions that need to be filled. A centre half, a right winger, and a striker are absolute musts for us. If Roman really cared about Chelsea, if he really had some sense, regardless of how much he has lost since taking over in 2003 (what is it £500m or something?), he would give us the funds to go out and buy someone... otherwise he would make things ten times worse and leave us with a huge debt over our heads. Chelsea are going to see themselves tackling a newspaper headline "THE FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE" unless they start pulling their fingers out!!

the moral to it all is, we had reasonable enough players to rotate in the squad. Now, we hardly have anyone! We ripped out the guts last summer and we left a big hole... did we even think to re-fill it... NO!!
-
I want the team from last season back... Deco Ballack, Belletti (and dare I say his name, Joe Cole)... at least they all knew how to play football
-
There's something else you should be considering here.. Newcastle, Sp*rs, and even fucking West Brom can beat Arsenal at the Emirates, yet we get trounced 3-1 is that justice??
-
Oh fark! Totally forgot about that In the mean-time....
-
3-1 game over! pathetic goodby carlo Call of Duty time! get fucked Chelsea
-
Carlo gets sacked and becomes the Inter manager! you heard it here first
-
At least when AIK Solna kept losing in the Allsvenskan last season it was only by the odd goal!! Chelsea, who used to have a rock solid defence are now conceding bucketfuls!! This is not the Chelsea I know and love! Pathetic
-
shambolic

Has anyone else seen this moment of complete madness ?

I swear, the Daily Mail is so anti-Chelsea it's quite shocking, I hope to god this isn't true!

Carlo Ancelotti, without a win in five Premier League matches, will not be allowed to bolster Chelsea's faltering title hopes by adding to his squad in the January transfer window. Chelsea will announce in the new year that the club lost £40million last season despite winning the League and FA Cup Double. Only if owner Roman Abramovich has a major change of heart and subsidises a new signing will Ancelotti be able to bring in new blood next month. And the Italian has been told that such an about-turn is not on the agenda. The lack of funds will further frustrate a manager who is expected by Abramovich to improve on last season's performance, despite having to operate with a squad that captain John Terry admits is weaker than the one that completed the Double. Ancelotti, who has insisted that despite recent injuries he cannot blood his youngsters at such a time of crisis, now faces Arsenal in a vital match tomorrow knowing that his principal rivals for the titles - Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal - have significant funds to strengthen in January. City will make a further move for £35m Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, while United are monitoring Liverpool's £20m goalkeeper, Pepe Reina, and Atletico Madrid's £15m David de Gea, as Arsenal contemplate a £10m move for Bolton centre-half Gary Cahill. But potential Chelsea moves for a new striker, such as City's unsettled Carlos Tevez or Liverpool's Fernando Torres - either of whom would cost £40m - or for Benfica centre-half David Luiz, who is valued at £25m, are seemingly impossible. Despite enjoying an historic season in 2009/10, Chelsea's financial figures are unlikely to see a significant change from the previous year's loss of £44.4m, taking the total amount of losses since Abramovich took over seven years ago to more than £500m. The Russian has committed to reducing the club's annual deficits ever since announcing a record loss for a football club of £140.2m in 2005. Chief executive Ron Gourlay has already told players, in a team meeting at the start of the season, not to expect major signings, as the club are now expected to generate their own transfer funds through sales rather than rely on hand-outs from Abramovich. Gourlay has been instituting a number of economies this season, which included refusing to renew the contracts of Joe Cole and Michael Ballack and cutting the win bonuses of some players. Chelsea need to show UEFA they are making progress in reducing their losses from next season. Europe's ruling body will monitor club accounts as part of new financial fair play regulations. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Source: Daily Mail ----------------------------------------------------------------- I'm adament the Daily Mail isn't one of the bad source... is Roman turning his back on us??

I got Black Ops for Christmas, but I won't play it until I'm adament that it won't bugger my PS3 up! Unfortunately, I didn't get an AIK Solna jersey, but I did get lots of money to order one in the future, so no hard feelings there
-
One major problem I have with our showdown with Arsenal is Lampard... the fact that he's been out for so long with this injury he's had, do we all reckon he will be the same Frank Lampard we saw at the beginning of the season, or will he be a Frank Lampard dusting off and finding his form?? Mark Lawrenson mentioned it in his prediction, so I thought it would be something to think about.
-
*jealous much* I would have thought the Copenhagen game away would be the perfect reason for me to go to Denmark! Then again I'd rather go there as a tourist, not as a football fan
-
Thing is though, Christmas hype lasts for a whole month, your birthday is only one whole day, so you don't get to enjoy it as much
-
welcome dude! Hope you enjoy it here
-
I'm hoping for an AIK Solna jersey this Christmas, but that seems very optimistic apart from that, Call of Duty Black Ops is right up there
-
Facebook is evil, especially when you have the hots for a girl and you know you can't have them... (he says in his experience)
-
Time to make the family groan with frustration again!! :blue scalf: (here's hoping our form will be better)
-
I'm a little late to say anything about this, but this is excellent news for us!! Hopefully, Kakuta will come out and show what he's really made of!! TX will be jizzing his pants over this news I'm sure!
-
If we're talking about a dream squad (one we can afford mind).... Cech Dani Alves Pique Terry Bale Essien Lampard Källström Aguero Drogba Sneijder
-
maybe the German league isn't for him
-
Danish players do fairly well at Chelsea.... Bjarne Goldbæk, Jesper Gronkjær to name a couple, Brian Laudrup wasn't a big hit though but he was the last player to score for us against FC Copenhagen! Jes Høgh, was backup to Desailly and Leboeuf back in 2000, and he was dogged of injuries while he was coming to the end of his career, but he did put up some excellent performances when he did play.
