  1. Fifth Gear is rubbish because the presenters on there will never endure the characteristics of Clarkson, Hammond or May. They're a right boring bunch on there anyway.
  2. If I could just disagree with you right there dude, Neymar is the sort of striker we've been wanting for a long while! We need a striker like him to work with Torres up front, which would sound perfect. As for Sanchez, he's the right-sided midfield player we've been wanting for absolute years, especially since SWP left some years back. Could they work in the same team? Of course they can. Both quick on the ball and both enjoy a bit of trickery and some goals. The only concern however is the money, but Roman will sort all of that out!
  3. I don't bother with that site! They're all a bunch of idiots in my opinion!
  4. Fair point mate, but at least it's at a club like Bari. Italian football will do him good, but that's only if he can break into their side. If he can't, then it might be tough for him. What's with these Danish protests to Norway about their oil then?? I don't get it. I suppose it's brotherly arguements between neighbours, because Denmark are the smallest, yet superior and powerful Scandinavian country?? And I hate to go a little off topic here!
  5. Bertrand or van Aanholt for me. If van Aanholt can do well at Leicester, and there are signs of improvement from him, then I see him as a good candidate. Bertrand has a lot of playing experience behind him now, so it'll be interesting to see if he can break through the team.
  6. I watched the game on a stream!! Rommedahl's goal was absolutely class!! Top volley! Huseklepp's goal was well worked! He plays for Bari in Italy now doesn't he??
  7. Very true! The point I'm making though, is that you don't have to speak perfectly good English to do exeedingly well in a side. If he has other players around him who can speak his native language then that's a bonus. Pires had loads of French players playing alongside him at Arsenal. Henry and Viera to name a couple.
  8. Yeah exactly! Communication is key, so he will get a lot better with us once he starts talking English! Mind you Robert Pires had trouble speaking English while he played for Arsenal, yet he's an Arsenal legend
  9. he'll never score as many goals from midfield either!
  10. Bit strange to see Lampard wearing number 7 shirt. Bloody Wilshere stole it from him.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4tuhtE93a8 Fantastic compilation on his performance against Man City! Some of the tackles he made just takes any fan's breath away!!
  12. Frank Lampard on David Luiz: "I can only be pleased we've got him, because he would be ideal for the Arsenal. I mean, he can play anywhere, he's absolutely fantastic. And you know what, more than how he's playing, he's got such a lovely attitude about him. He's carefree, he plays with a smile on his face. I think he's almost learned the English language in three weeks because he's such a confident boy, you know, he's not fearful of anything. With David Luiz, you could see a look in his eye and a smile on his face the minute he walked through the door. We were having a funny time when him and Fernando turned up, and to get a striker like Torres and then this player coming, we didn't know much about him to be honest. To see the confidence and the ability he's got, it was a breath of fresh air. So he's going to be a fantastic player for a long time for us." ---------------------------------- Source: Chelsea Daft ----------------------------------
  13. Not right now, but I'll be watching Football Focus on BBC1
  14. Dude, Eriksen time after time tore our England defence apart, partiularly in the first half of the game when we played Denmark. That may just be one game, but if he can perform like that when he's 19, you have a lot of potential there!
  15. Are they really horizontal lines, or is that screen interference??
  16. Oh god!! Busted. I bet he was embarrassed after looking at that for the first time
  17. I agree with a lot of the above posters, especially eldo! I think what we need to be doing is investing some of the money in improving the squad and reducing the age range. Inject more money into out youth academy, and also buy a couple of quality players to replace those who are ageing a bit. While we have that in mind, I don't think there's time to either build a new stadium, or make extensions to Stamford Bridge.
  18. Like they need him!! They have Milner and Silva on either side, not to mention Wright-Phillips, who at 29 is still talented, and he hardly gets a sniff at games. Besides, Man City want everyone!
  19. After he's just been given the armband back from Capello?? No way man! I reckon at 31 he could lead England at Euro 2012 next year! If Lampard can go on until he's 33 then Terry can survive until then as well.... although consistent back injuries could be an issue.
  20. Sunday is meant to be a resting day, a proper relaxation day, why would you suffer from it?
  21. Cech Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole Essien Ramires Lampard Kalou Torres Malouda Subs: Turnbull, Alex, Bosingwa, Benayoun, Zhirkov, Anelka, Drogba
  22. Pirlo is far too old!! Man City can have him if they really want to. We're developing a young team now and it's about time we stopped buying older players!!
  23. This is really good news!! And to think Juventus could have signed him! I'm looking forward to seeing this kid play next year!
