  1. If you were read that last sentence carefully, you'll notice he said "these things have to be carefully considered" He hasn't made up his mind yet, even it Chelsea or Barcelona would be his supposed "dream move", he has plenty of time to think about his future, why would he make a choice now. Arshavin said after Euro 2008 he would love to move to Barcelona and the following January he ended up at Arsenal.
  2. Just generally peeved! I hate my coursework! Why does it have to be so complicated
  3. I wouldn't! I would much preferred it if McEachran was with us throughout his career... a one club man, like Tony Adams, like Gary Neville, like Lionel Messi (currently)! He certainly has the qualities that would allow him to do that! He could also be on the same wavelength as Wilshere, if not better! The irony of it though, is that I understand where you're coming from. Wilshere went to Bolton and performed well there, and now he's found himself an assured place in the Arsenal team. Like Sturridge as well. He's done exceptionally well so far over there, scoring 4 goals already, and really enjoying his football. The only way of getting the best out of these players is the fact that they are enjoying their football. Torres should enjoy his football more
  4. I'm a quarter welsh, but I'm fully English when it comes to supporting England. But that comment from Ledley... HAHA!! What kind of drugs is he snorting these days??
  5. Wow!! Scolari just sank to a new low with those words!! Adriano was at Inter Milan at the time, and was having the worst form of his career if I remember rightly! He was on loan at Sao Paulo and never even got a game for them! Brazilian managers know fuck all if I'm honest. It's like Pele when he predicts futures for young players and ge gets them completely wrong!
  6. Making plans for him to become their new Pele are they?? I have to say, that is understandable on their part!
  7. Chelsea are stepping up their efforts to land Ajax right-back Gregory van der Wiel. The Blues' owner, Roman Abramovich, is ready to bankroll a £12million move for the Dutch international, to replace Jose Bosingwa. Bosingwa is on his way out of Stamford Bridge and Chelsea are ready to listen to offers as they look to shake up their squad. Discreet enquiries have been made about Van der Wiel, and it is believed Chelsea sounded out Ajax and the player's representatives last weekend. --------------------------------------------- Source: Mirror Football ---------------------------------------------
  8. I gotta agree with TX there, that kit design looks hideous!
  9. That's a perfect way of putting it IMO! Perfect example of people who know nothing about football! Selling Mikel is madness IMO. I mean, he can be prone to the odd mistake, or an early booking, but by god does he do a job well, particularly in defensive midfield. I've always seen Mikel as the closest we have to a Makelele-esque player.
  10. Malouda is more likely to go. Then again, Zhirkov has complained about not playing enough! So even that decision is tough to call!
  11. I follow the Chelsea because many years ago my Grandad used to cycle to Stamford Bridge on a regular basis in his youth, and my uncle has supported them all his life. You could say on the strength of that, my grandad is a Chelsea fan. He is! But football isn't really his first sport. It's normally cricket! Chelsea is the love of my life. Much as I slag them off sometimes in matches, or whether I disagree with supporters over signing certain players. I will always follow Chelsea, win or lose, and that's the way it should be... ----------- I hate United because... 1) They are the luckiest bunch of cunts I know! 2) They always score deep into stoppage time 3) They don't know how to fucking lose 4) Their supporters are as thick as shit! I hate Arsenal because... 1) Like Man United, they are a bunch of lucky bastards 2) Their supports always BRAG! I hate Liverpool because... 1) ... of that goal by Luis Garcia 2) and just generally the fact that they always used to knock us out of Europe!
  12. yeah exactly! I honestly think it's disgusting!
  13. To be truthfully honest, generally, Anelka hasn't had a great season, and Drogba is way into his 30s now, despite his goal-scoring abilities, we need a younger generation of players. With that said, as long as Neymar joins, I wouldn't be bothered about Drogba or Anelka Leaving. Torres, Neymar and Sturridge is a very balanced set of strikers IMO
  14. I watched Norway against Denmark. I thought during the game their passes were rather sloppy at times, but after they scored, you felt as though they really wanted to win!
  15. After seeing that, I'm confident about signing him now
  16. I remember my last and only bet! Two years ago I put £5 on Fernando Torres to score the first goal for Liverpool against Real Madrid and I won £30 Even though he wore red back then, Torres won me a night out! I'll never forget that!
  17. DUUDE!! That's some bad luck right there man!!
  18. Fair point! But I would rather see us sign a player like Sanchez than let it slip through our fingers again, and allow City to swoop in for them! We've already seen that happen with Robinho and David Silva. Someone will then say "But Robinho never cut it in the Premier League!" ... fine, say that! But my response to them would be... "Had he have joined Chelsea, and not Manchester City, knowing he would have lined up with fellow world class performers, the Premier League would have seen his best. He would have worked perfectly in a system with Lampard and Drogba, because those two players are not too similar, and they can find their own space and would have given each other opportunities." At the end of the day, Robinho was playing alongside a team that didn't consist of any top quality players at that time because he was they only player they signed on that deadline day, and by the time City did start signing top quality players, he lost his form, he sulked a bit, and then went back to Brazil.
  19. Feeling really humid, even with the window open!! I wish it was colder!
  20. How do you know that's what he said. Is there a source that says it at all?? It's just that the last article I read about Neymar, he said he would prefer to move to Italy.
  21. Luiz wants Neymar to join us according to the Mirror, so that's half the battle won on their front. If he does join us, we'd be turning into a mini Brazil!
  22. Well, the summer transfer window starts on the 1st June, so I can only assume we can sign him as early as that, but that will never happen!
  23. I'd rather see Neymar playing up front together for Chelsea, rather than just comparing the two! Didn't Neymar say he wanted a move to Italy rather than move to England??
