Damn lmao, never a good idea to get into a war of words with Jose, although Mourinho has now played his trump card. Conte still has the eye-gouging, 16th place in the table, and tax evasion arguments to use
Chelsea matchgoers seem quite apathetic towards Hazard anyway. They're not particularly vocally supportive of him, in comparison to someone like Willian, say. Our most talented ever player, hardly treated like such by the home crowd.
We had 61/66 points in the 05/06 season. Then as is virtually always the case with fast-starters we dropped off in the second half of the season. Won't be surprised if (when) that happens with City too, although they'll still win the league of course.
Just saw this on RedCafe about the points record: we had a crazy 61 points out of a possible 66 after 22 games in 05/06. Still didn't manage to beat our record total from the season before.
Truly embarrassing. When will we start a big game by pressing high and taking the game to the opposition, instead of passively sitting deep and just waiting to concede? I long for the day.
Barkley saga reeks of medical issues (beyond what is already known of his injury). Remember Mourinho saying you don't publicly say a player has failed a medical so as not to ruin his career?
Funny how everyone wants to overlook this. We've shown we have no defensive stability whatsoever when we're down to 10 men, not even when playing at home against a small team. Conte is as much to blame as anyone else.
