Next manager needs to be one that takes our youth players seriously. They have a surprising amount of technical ability.

Again I think it's because he knows it's just going to be a collective halfhearted press anyway. The opposition will make a few easy passes and play their way out of it, no matter how intense he goes for the press personally. Can't remember the last time we suffocated a team over a long period, especially a big team. It's just not how we play but I've been desperate to see it for years. One day.

Honestly I'm over all of it but not De Bruyne. What a HUGE mistake that turned out to be. The best player in the most rampant PL team in history. We needed that buy-back clause, needed it. That part wasn't Jose's fault in fairness.

Hazard doesn't press because he isn't instructed to. Mourinho and Conte are simply not pressing managers. The likes of Sane, Neymar, De Bruyne, Messi, Griezmann, etc. are not what you'd call "natural pressers" but they do it because that's what the system they play in demands.

Watching on TV there was definitely noticeable booing when Hazard and Cesc were subbed off. Not sure whether it was aimed at them or the manager though.

Conte says we're showing "great (defensive) solidarity". I think he must've missed the first half. He also says that "we must improve our shots from outside the box to score," because that's of course the most probable way of scoring... Also about transfer targets: Conte wanted Bakayoko and well, here we are. The board are at fault for not buying top players, not for ignoring Conte targets.

Captaincy is a choice as well.
