Reus production in the bundesliga and CL speaks for itself. Hazard is far too inconsistent as of now. I don't know if your that blinded but it is easy to see that Marco is on another level. Do you even watch the Bundesliga? Reus performs better then Ribery and Robben on a consistent basis, and you want to say Hazard is on that level? We are all Chelsea fans here but stop being so blinded by your allegiance.

Reus is a far more accomplished player in terms of goals/assists. He has the same tools Eden has but is a more explosive player who can score from anywhere on the pitch. Reus is without a doubt better at this current moment, but Hazard is still young which is his saving grace.
-
I don't think anyone would turn that deal down. Reus is on another level then Eden right now and is probably the best attacking midfielder Germany has to offer. What he did in his few appearances in the bundesliga along with his awesome CL display definitely puts him in the upper echelon of attacking mids. I would seriously fear if a big time rival acquired Reus.

I don't want Torres to be our go to guy next year. I don't think Diego Costa is the answer either though.
-
So funny that you guys complain about Torres and his mistakes/technical ability and yet you all want Costa who is far worse on the ball and will not create chances for anyone else. In fact, I can't wait till Costa gets here and wonders why our midfield will not pass the ball to him when he tries to make a run. Costa is in a much better position coming in then Torres though as we have signed Fabregas who is one of the best creators in the world.
-
As much slack as people give Torres, he was signed and had some great moments with the club. He has been part of teams that won the FA Cup, CL, and Europa league. I'd sign up for that any day of the week.

Can't even get one fucking pass off. Fuck off mourinho.
-
How the fuck is that going to help mate. Torres has gotten zero dangerous passes today. Oscar for Torres would do absolutely nothing.
-
Totally agree. A horrible display, we can't even play half appealing football. We have no identity going forward attacking. If it weren't for our back four we would be a very average squad.
-
Mourinho with pathetic tactics. I hope we don't pay at the Bridge for this display. We can't even muster possession against a counter attacking side. And torres is getting zero support up front, his only supply has been long balls against three defenders. Pathetic. Ramirez is an awful creative player, creates zero chances.
-
This ref calls fouls for everything. I hate when our guys do it, but Hazard with a proper fucking dive right their.
-
Their is no direct answer to tiki-taka. For all we know Barca could win the champions league again this year, they have the squad to do so. Spain is still a top three team in the world. It's still in my opinion (if executed properly on that day) the most efficient way to win matches.
-
Chelsea fans like you are completely ignorant to the game. Of course he went missing when game after game our midfield fails to control the ball and supply it to our striker, whomever it may be. Fernando gets in great positions all the time, always looking to make a run off the shoulder but our midfield fails to link up with him. Thank god for players like Willian who think pass before shoot unlike Oscar and Hazard.
-
Uhh... Theirs also that guy Messi.
-
This Chelsea squad may look like shit now but we can beat any squad on any given day. We have always played to the oppositions level and I don't see that trend stopping now.
-
Plain in simple, Marco Reus is better than any winger or cam on our team. The kid is flat out amazing.
-
Yes!!! That's exactly what that that shot reminded me of. A wonder goal from nowhere, he was so close today.
-
Torres easily MOTM for me, and not just because of the match winner. That assist he created was absolutely brilliant. He was all over the pitch today and that shot that hit the crossbar was reminiscent of the wonder strike he hit while at Liverpool.
-
It was not a scratch though, so I don't know what your getting at. Even so this incident was entirety different and way less malevolent then say a bite or a stomp. The way Vertonghen was playing was pathetic, and he was antagonizing and getting away with murder against Torres. How many times have we seen Torres get raped out on the pitch by a defender and get zero calls. It's absolutely ridiculous.
-
Lets go. Torres and Mata ON.
-
We almost never create clear cut chances for our striker. It's astonishing that people are only now realizing this.
-
Watching this group if young players play is do frustrating. So talented, but we have no identity as a team. I don't even know what the squad is looking to do when they get the ball half the time.
-
Totally off with this. With his international accomplishments, his superb play at Liverpool, and trophies at Chelsea he will go down as one of the players with the best credentials out of this era of players. Not only that but in his prime El Niño was the most feared striker in the world.
-
This is done by almost every successful international team in the world, so the US should try to emulate this. Klinsmen has the US playing brilliantly. And we actually have an identity and a style of play.
-
I'd say he was quality during the whole Europa run, no game in particular though. His best performance was against United until the 'open goal miss'. He looked exactly like the Liverpool Torres that game until he misfired.
