Sorry guys but which team came up from the Championship....Them or us ??????? We are not pressing or closing them down in the midfield. Oscar has to be taken off and lets see if Costa has learned his lesson. We are making Bournemouth look good. This is really poor and a big step backwards for us. 4th position ??? 4th from bottom maybe!!!!!

No wonder we were bankrupt !!!!

Great days and the picture brings back great memories.....Every fan had at least three seats to himself cause nobody wanted to see us playing the likes of Oldham, (no disrespect to them intended, but you know what I mean )

Have to say that Costa has me totally baffled........Last season he was scoring for fun, running off the ball, getting into dangerous positions, out-muscling defenders and hitting the target with at least a couple of dangerous shots per game. This season WTF!! Not scoring, can't be arsed to run into dangerous positions, has taken to assaulting defenders rather than challenge them, shots few and far between, and really looks like a guy who couldn't give a damn whether we win or lose. I get the feeling he doesn't see any of our other strikers as a serious threat to him. Well when he gets dropped and we replace him with a midfielder I can understand if that was how he feels. I also dont think we should read too much into what the papers say, but I personally was a bit dissapointed with him dropping his bib. I dont think he was throwing it at Mourinho but it didn't look good for a club professional to act so petulantly. How would it look if all the subs done that? The guy must realise that he is not cutting it and needs to improve. It's not personal (from Mourinho) but he was dropped because he is playing pure shite. When and if he gets back in the side he will need to prove that he can lead the attack. I watched him against Tel-Aviv and I thought he was awful and he deserved to be benched for the Spurs game, but to replace him with a midfielder sent out the wrong signal to him, the opposition and our supporters. If he had been replaced with a striker who perhaps scored he might see his positioned under threat. But to replace with with a midfielder and end up not scoring will not bother him one little bit. If anything he will feel that his place is now stronger as he wasn't replaced with a goalscorer, so has no-one to fear. I can't figure out whether I want him to stay or go......But I would like to see him play to his full potential, respect the club, the manager, the jersey.....and the bib

I think for us to win this one we will need to score at least two, because I'll be very surprised if we keep a clean sheet. Then again I'll be very surprised if we can manage to score two....Just shows you where my level of confidence in the side is at present. I think that the only gameplan is a very simple one.....Keep getting fouled 20 yards out.....dive if you have to........Willian will do the rest

A win against Porto and we finish top. A draw we finish second. Sky sports says so and thats final (But I may be wrong )

Nice to finally see us win a match, but I wont get carried away just yet. And the reason for that is 1. We were playing Norwich FFS....One place above us before the start of play 2. We had over 70% of the play and only converted one chance. 3. Costa, although he scored was shite (in my humble opinion) 4. Defence still looks a bit suspect at times. We could've been a goal down only for a Terry intervention. 5. We were playing at the Bridge and should expect to be beating teams like Norwich. (no disrespect intended) But on the bright side, Hazard, Matic and Fabregas played very well today and seem to be getting back a bit of confidence Spurs next week.......Now if we can win this one, then I will believe we are on the up :blue scalf:
-
For once I am delighted to have an international break coming up. I know a lot of players will be away on duty, but a least the spotlight will be off us for a week or two. As for the Norwich game? Well if we don't win this one we will be in a relegation battle, and lets not kid ourselves otherwise. Makes very sad reading when you look at the only teams we've beaten so far this season. Struggling WBA, 9 man Arsenal and bottom of the table Villa. But I firmly believe we will beat Norwich........But I said that about the Palace game, the Southampton game, the West Ham game, etc, etc, etc
-
Was there when we were in the second division mate..........and yes I'll be there if that's where we end up again. And what I said is in no way trolling and I find that insulting. If Mourinho goes will you follow him or will YOU still follow Chelsea?
-
Fuck this .........I'm going to watch "American Sniper"..........I want to see someone shoot and actually find the target !!!!!!

Just because we are Chelsea and the current champions, doesn't mean we cant be relegated. We are in serious shit here and the coach has no magic wand to save our season. We are now fighting for our lives with tough fixtures coming up. Before, fixtures against Leicester, Spurs and other middle of the table sides used to mean 3 points every time, but now I am dreading these. So far this season we have beaten WBA who made it tough for us, 9 man Arsenal and bottom of the table Aston Villa!!! Please show me where our next three points are coming from? Any other club who has a team of world class players such as ours would have sacked the manager weeks ago, and just because our manager is called "Jose Mourinho" and claims he is "one of us" frankly means jack shit to me if we keep playing the drivel we are playing this season. We need change. He's gotta go....and now.....end of

This could be the first time a manager gets the sack and wasn't even at the match !!!! Seriously though, this is piss poor. We may have had the lions share of possession but we still don't look anything like the potent force going forward that we were for the first half of last season, and a major part of the blame has to be down to the coach. I like Mourinho, but I love Chelsea more, and now he has to go. We need to start afresh, and we cant do that with him churning out the same tactics week after week when they simply dont work anymore. The team looked really demoralized coming off the pitch, (all except that lazy clown Costa!!). and I cannot see us improving under the present regime. So for me he has to go, the sooner the better.........Oh and bring that useless f@cker Fabregas with you......He couldn't control a ball to save his life!!

Some years ago Nottingham Forest won the European Cup with Brian Clough and set records during his reign, and he was as iconic a manager as Jose Mourinho. Forest got into a bad run, but the board at Forest stuck with the manager who brought them the world and made them Champions..........They got relegated and have never got back........Just saying

I've waited for a couple of hours before posting, because I was really so angry. I agree with everything you said here mate. I will just add this."What the fuck did we expect"?? Same formation, more or less same team, (defence especially) no heart from our key players. Liverpool wiped the floor with us. It's really the SAME SHIT JUST A DIFFERENT DAY. Oh.....and I'm still angry as fuck

Married 31 years and I always get the last word in arguments. I just say "Yes Dear!!!"
-
Yes I agree with you Shankley played to the media as it was at the time. But in fairness to him he could never have forseen the future and how that off the cuff remark would come back to haunt his own club
-
You're entitled to your opinion, just as I am.. You seem to have taken it that I live by this quote (which I don't!!) When Shankley said it, yes, he meant it tongue in cheek.......and that's the way you should have taken it too. As for "jumping in" as you put it.......This is a forum where people post comments. Whether they are right or wrong they are the comments (cliched or not!) of Chelsea fans. I won't rubbish any persons comments on here because everyone is entitled to their say. You felt the need to take umbrage with my "cliched comment". If you don't want me "Jumping in" then perhaps open forums are not the place to be!! And my reference to the "Highs and lows" is just to point out that I have seen much tougher times than we are going through now. I am proud to support Chelsea and always have been, and if I cannot post my memories of worse times on here, then where would you like me to post them? And as for Chelsea mullering someone soon??? Not the way we are playing at present I feel. That's my opinion, but if they do I will bow to your superior knowledge of the game....And I really do hope you are right and it is against Liverpool. KTBFFH

It was Shankly who put in place the corner stones of the great Liverpool teams for the likes of Paisley to carry on. I don't let on to be an expert on Liverpool history, but I do remember seeing them play at the time on many occasions, and they were very good. And at that time, in Liverpool, football was very important to the people. The city was fairly run down with a lot of unemployment, so football was a passion up there. I quoted what Shankly said at the time, whether he said it tongue in cheek is up to you to work out. As for me?? I put up the quote as a "light hearted " comment...So take it as such..Don't take life or comments sooooo seriously......Life's too short As for Chelsea ?? I've supported them since 1970, seen us relegated, practically go out of business, get sold for a pound, lose to clubs like Orient, sell our best players season after season to make ends meet, get hammered by Yid fans Birmingham fans Derby fans and the coppers in Coventry on a cold wet Saturday. So after supporting them for 45 years they are a big part of my life and as such are important to me. But do you really think I'm losing any sleep over our current predicament?? Not bloody likely.. It's been a rollercoaster ride and it ain't over yet and I enjoy all the highs.....and the lows too.
-
That quote was made 20 years before Hillsborough. I might agree with you if it was said 20 years after. How sure are you that at the time it was said tongue in cheek? Liverpool were very passionate about their football back then, and at that time a lot of fans agreed with Shankly's sentiment. As for tongue in cheek........When I posted it here that's exactly what it was supposed to be mate !!!!!
-
When he was manager they were unbeatable.........Give credit where it's due mate. Shankley transformed Liverpool from a second division club to European Champions. You and I may not like them but the manager did one hell of a job. Nothing delusional there...just fact
-
By any chance do you do marriage councilling ????????
-
As I've stated on here before...........The great Liverpool manager Bill Shankley once said "Football is not just a matter of life and death...It's much more important than that" That says it all for me :blue scalf:
-
Ah fuck this............I'm off to bed..........Pissed off......Depressed.......angry.........annoyed..........frustrated......hopping mad.......Oh the joys of supporting Chelsea.............Some poor fucker is gonna feel my wrath tomorrow
