Erm, Aguero was wank for Argentina during the Copa America 2011 and WC 2014. Aguero was playing in Messi's position having Messi playing in a deeper role for Argentina, just to accommodate Aguero. So by your definition, the team was playing around Aguero and he was ungodly inconsistent for the national side. Or did you not bring that up because it didn't fit your agenda?
-
More so that Messi now has to fill in that void due to Iniesta and Xavi's decrease in ability. Now he's playing in a much deeper role than usual, similar to that of Argentina. But Aguero and Suarez have one season where they are matching his numbers, and are all of a sudden close to his level. Bollocks of the highest order.
-
Way to yet again miss the point entirely. No surprise though. I wasn't speaking of his form at club level when talking about his consistency, its the fact some feel he is near Messi's level just because he is matching his numbers this season and ONLY this season when Messi has been doing this for half a decade. If he wants to be near his level, he would have to perform at this level every season and increase his overall style of play, scoring and producing goals of high numbers.
-
Mikel with the winner.
-
Messi's been performing at this level for almost half a decade now, banging up more goals than appearances, 71 goals in a season and 91 goals in a calender year. Just because this is Aguero's first season where he is matching Messi' numbers, considering Messi is playing in a much deeper role now for Barca, doesn't automatically lable Aguero near Messi's level without rational deliberating. It's nonsense, , just as how they stated Suarez wasn't too far behind Messi or Ronaldo. They have been world class for ages and banging goals left and right and just because Suarez has ONE season where he shows upmost quality doesn't give him nor Aguero the right to be in the same breath as them until they both do it consistently.
-
Again. No where near his level.
-
He will never be anywhere near Messi's level.
-
Batter the cunts. Still hate them for 2007.
-
We weren't tbh. If it wasnt a goal then it would of been a penalty with Cech going off after his challenge against Garcia.
-
Not really. His character shows a lot. He lacks grit which ultimately sets him apart from the rest of successful captains. Not to mention he carry's an emotionless aurora around him.
-
Control the midfield, we control the game.
-
We have absolutely no right to criticize any side parking the bus.
-
Hands down.
-
Cesc is always quality against spurs.
-
November is over. Now we are free.
-
I disagree. Their 2011 squad in some sense was quality and they weren't big game bottlers like this current one is. During that season, they had a chance to take a massive lead in the title race come February but Wenger's stubbornness and injuries cost them yet again. -------------RVP-------------- Nasri-------------------Walcott -------------Cesc---------------- ----Song------------Diaby------

I'd give my left bollock for this to happen, but no where near 200mill.
-
Duff > Robben Without a shadow of a doubt. Anyone who's watched us pre - 2006 wouldn't hesitate to put Duff ahead of Robben who in all reality is on there merely on name alone.
-
This. Different leagues being different environments. Mata was quality as a LW at Valencia but outmuscled and excluded with his time with us.
-
He was LW. Turan was RW
-
If this club even had a 'main man', it would be Cesc. Everything runs through him.
-
Best ever Chelsea squad (in your lifetime)

I find it very odd many people included Robben in their team. I really do. -
Is that a Nazi uniform??
-
I would absolutely despise Aguero if I was an Argentine. The lad is bloody world class at club level but absolute wank of the highest order on the national team, even with him taking over Messi's position and Messi having to play a deeper role.
-
Erm.. In the last 15 years Paolo Maldini was the only footballer to intercept more passes than Claude. And you are seriously undermining Makelele never mind comparing two players who's roles are completely different. But carry on.
