  1. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/radamel-falcao-to-chelsea-monaco-want-two-players-as-part-of-deal-for-striker-10322748.html Curious if this is going through. On one-hand it makes sense. AS Monaco are planning to sell some of their big names, they are aiming to build and develop a younger and cheaper squad. Also, Falcao, Mourinho and Musonda all have the same agent so i guess negotiations would go smoothly. On the other hand, maybe Chelsea thinks this is too big of a step. This isn't Vitesse, Elche, Werder Bremen or even Borussia. This a CL-level team, i think our last "youngster" who was loaned out to such a club was Thibaut Courtois (and they struggled to attain a CL-spot when he first arrived). Maybe Mourinho want's to keep him with the team but i don't think this will happen. Im just hoping he doesn't end up in the Championship. I was surprised last year that Lewis Baker went there. Although i didn't see him play alot, but wasn't he Chelsea's youngster of the year then? Or is he a step below the level of talent that Musonda and Boga have? Anyway, i think this is the first time the're is such interest from high-level teams for players from our academy (Boga and Musonda), with ASMonaco and Olympique Marseille interested.
  2. New interview with Charly's dad: https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nl/nieuws/lees/2015-06-13/musonda-junior-volgend-seizoen-wellicht-elders-aan-de-slag-maar-niet-in-belgie-dat-wil-chelsea-niet Let me translate: "Here in England Charly is making alot of progression, but he has to keep developing. Technically, Charly was always good. But he also progressed physically and mentally. He became stronger and realises now more than ever that football is played through the brains. Charly doesn't have to leave Chelsea. But it is true that Monaco is pulling his sleeves since january. We will see, but there are more teams interested. Ofcourse, Charly's biggest ambition is to break through at Chelsea. A loan deal to Belgium is not going to happen. Chelsea doesn't want that, they want that Charly to land in a bigger european competition and i understand that. Not saying that Anderlecht is bad, because they develop alot of good young players and i appreciate that."
  3. http://www.nieuwsblad.be/sportwereld/cnt/dmf20150612_01729279 Belgian sources are telling that Charly Musonda could also be part of the deal (him going onloan to ASMonaco) to land Falcao.
  4. Olympique Marseille offloaded 2 attacking midfielders already (Foued Kadir and Andre Ayew)! Making space for Boga and Musonda ?
  5. http://www.cjrmusonda10.com/ Glad he doesn't take his talent for granted , putting up some real hard worker in that vid.
  6. He's more of a mixture of Xavi and Iniesta. Xavi and Fabrégas are excellent passers and direct the flow of the game really well from deeper positions. The difference is that Charly can dribble really well (only Boga is arguably better than him in that regard), kinda like Inieasta. For that reason alone i think it would be a waste for him to play in a deeper midfield role.
  7. That is some damn fine photoshop if it's false.
  8. He's had 2 seasons under Mourinho and got alot more chances than Mata and KDB after bad performances. Mourinho was already replacing them before the season even began (buying Willian, and saying Oscar was his N10).
  9. It just the manner, through the media. And there is nothing Ruben can do for 2 months, chances are rare at Chelsea, unless you are an untouchable (Ivanovich, Oscar, Hazard,...). KDB, Mata, Luiz, Schürrle, Salah, Cuadrado,... There where clear signs early on that Mourinho didn't like them (except maybe Luiz who was immense in the big games), but they didn't fit his profile and we all know what happened to them.
  10. Aside from maybe Solanke (or Brown), i don't see anyone getting the same chances as RLC under Mourinho. José prefers certain type of players and Colkett, Musonda, Boga are not. My hopes for those youngsters are that the Olympique Marseille/As Monaco rumours are true, i don't want to see them waste their talent in the championship.
  11. Fuck me José can be quite ruthless sometimes, but yeah he's right. Still, it must be a horrible feeling for RLC to go on a holiday like that. There is still pre-season but most 1st-team members will already be back then (Except Willian, Luis, Cuadrado who don't even play in his position). Not to mention José saying there will be 2-3 new additions to the squad. His chances will surely be limited.
  12. Colkett, Azpi, Solanke and Remy where all very good. Boga and Musonda showed flashes of potential. Loftus-Cheek while getting himself in good positions, was clueless when he had the ball with some really sloppy play. Allin all an okayish post-season game.
  13. Sorry to say it but Ruben has been comically bad this half.
  14. Idd, dunno why some people are upset about it. We will never see that many youngster's get this kinda chance. Not even in pre-season, having high hopes Boga/Musonda/Colkett/DaSilva will impress Mourinho. I also think it is obvious we will see 2 different teams each half, i couldn't be happier!
  15. Would love this line-up . I would probably only replace Hougton with Charlie Colkett.

  17. Curious wich of our U21's that will be joining him on the trip. I guess we will get a full squad list later today.
  18. Not really, a good way to spread our brand across the world.
  19. Great game to finish the season . Let's roll on and dominate even more next season!
  20. Yeh, Boga is very talented and im glad he got the nod. At his day he is better equipped to play in a Mourinho team than Musonda, altough he is pretty lacks in pressing and defending (a bit lazy). I hope both of them get a good loan, and they both develop towards their potential.
  21. We'll it is kinda strange. Jeremie was very up and down this year, with Musonda outshining him on several occasions. Boga got subbed off at half-time not that long ago in favour of Musonda (no injury). But yeah, Mourinho sticked with the same players he was pointing out at the beginning of the season (pre-season). You can actually compare it with the KDB and Mata situation, if they don't fit his profile chances are big that he won't feature them no matter how they perform. It is unfair though, Musonda played his heart out in most games. Was very versatile/consistent(played as an 8, N10, right and left winger at roughly the same level), never injured, wasn't shy too defend (unlike Boga), but still went unnoticed by Mourinho. There are arguments to be made for Charlie Colkett as well. Anyway, it doesn't really matter if Boga got the nod against Sunderland. Both will mostly likely go on loan anyway, and then we will see who will develop into a top player.
  22. Boga is made of glass though. Seems injured every 3 months.
  23. Idd, KDB and Lukaku are great examples where loan deals helped out. KDB went from Genk, Werder Bremen, (riding the bench at Chelsea) to the assist record holding Bundesliga player at Wolfsburg. Lukaku, while not at the same level as KDB never rotted on the bench at the clubs he was loaned out to. And know he has found stability at a club for his level (Everton).
