Im not too stressed for this. But stil, it's another chance for a prize. The most interesting thing tonight is the performances of our attacking mids tonight, KDB must blow everything out of the water to earn a starting spot for saturday. Mata and Especially Willian have their golden opportunity to impress, the latter after following a good string of impact substitutions.

As far as attacking mids this season goes. Hazard is the only one with a sure spot when fit. Oscar kept himself in the team with good performances. Hazard was a sure bet for the starting eleven even when he was weak. I guess Mourinho sees him as his star player at the moment, and he can play on both wings, Oscar is kinda limited to the nr10 spot with Schürrle/Willian/Hazard and to a lesser degree Mata around.

I guess we'll see him more and more. Jose is being patient with him by slowly building his matchrythm. He had no Chelsea preseason, and the intensity of the premier league takes time to adapt too. Expecting him to start against Arsenal.

Great subs again also. Mikel beïng a beast and aside from that offside, Willian didn't put a foot wrong and was the catalyst for that Torres goal.

I rather have him developed this way. That's also the reason he decided to join Chelsea, had he'd stayed at Anderlecht they would've already throw him into their first team (look at Lukaku/Tielemans). Though good for self-esteem, it hampers you're development also. Lukaku is a good example of where everything went a bit too quickly. There are serious holes in his play that are a direct result of him having to much responsibility too soon (Ballcontrol, First touch). Lukaku payed the price for this rush by sitting on the bench his entire first year at Chelsea, and 2 loan spells. The father of Musonda saw that (also an ex-Anderlecht player) and chose that Musonda would develop with boy's his age. I do expect him to go on loan in 1-2 years though.

I would put my faith into Willian. Schürrle played on the left with Hazard on the right and that didn't work out. Let Hazard stay on the left.

Our biggest issue is and will always be our CM as long as we refuse to invest into that department. If even Schalke is running us over in midfield im already dreading sunday.

Don't think Schürrle will start, if he just resumed training i doubt Mou would risk him in an important match. He didn't start Torres either on saturday. He'll definitely be in the selection though. My guess is that either Mata or Willian is going to start. Mata is the safe option, but on the other hand Jose gave Willian a full 90 mins game against Cardiff (to up his matchrythm i guess).

The only one who may be rested is Oscar due to his long flight/potential jetlag. Due to that, i would start with Willian on the right and Hazard/Schürrle on the left (prefer Hazard although Schürrle scored a hattrick). People saying that Schürrrle should start, need to know he's not going to play on the right wing, Jose realized and said it in an interview he prefers him on the left (where he also played for Germany). Im a Hazard fan, but i can see Jose starting with Schürrle with the momentum he has going.

De Bruyne is not going to happen guy's... Dunno if Schürrle will start. He competes with Hazard atm for the left wing and i cant see Jose picking him above Hazard. Only possible change in our AM is Willian for Mata.

Im a De Bruyne fan, but both him and Lukaku made the wrong decision into signing for Chelsea at their age. Despite all the talent Belgium is churning out, our League(Belgium) is shit. To go up from there too Chelsea is too big of a step. They may have the talent, but at that age that talent only shows in glimpses, U can't depend on that as a topclub. Best thing imo is to loan him in january, with Hazard/Oscar/Willian/Mata/Schürrle we have all the depth we need.
