  1. Bit surprised by the line-up. Impossible to predict these days. Edit: Schürrle must suck balls in training.
  2. Idd, people are expecting our AM's to do all the work. Probably because since Drogba we didn't have a striker that other teams feared. Sorry to break it to people but Hazard isn't a goalscorer neither is Willian. Their strenght is blistering pace and the ability to hold the ball. Mata has the best vision, and Oscar is somewhere inbetween all that. Schürrle isn't a playmaker but an interesting card to have. I hope people are not going to start to rely too much on him, he has an incredible shot but apart from that he's no Götze. Bottom line, our views will change from month to month, it's difficult to find a balance in so much AM quality.
  3. Willian was excellent (some neat brazilian tricks), just imagine if he get's that final pass right. Then again, Oscar and Hazard slacking. Ba seems a second Lukaku in his touches, too sluggish.
  4. I agree on your points but the only time i enjoyed our play with Oscar was the first 40 minutes of the Hull game. Dunno what it is but Mata brings something extra. Despite losing against Stoke and almost drawing against Sunderland we played beautiful attacking football with Mata. For stability i agree with you at the moment, Oscar is the better choice.
  5. I doubt it that Mourinho will be rotating much when he said in the press conference that the players have a day off on sunday to rest. He's also implying that Oscar may or may not be ready for play thus in that justifying another start for Mata. I also don't like rotating for the sake of rotating to keep players happy or to see how the chips fall. Rotate when a certain player was an obvious weak link or has an injury, There are matches coming wich aren't that important (Steua) but are a good opportunity where players can show their worth. Bringing either De Bruyne or Schürrle in is a gamble, they want to impress but they haven't played in a while also... Arguments can be made for either Ba (deserves it the most) or Mikel, but Lampard was more than good enough last game.
  6. Slowly but surely he's getting there. I think he's our only player that can play well on every part of the AM. Both him and Mata got a tad bit underrated this game (mostly looking at their first half).
  7. Cech Ivanovic - Cahill(Luiz if fit) - Terry - Azpi Lampard - Ramires Willian - Mata - Hazard Ba
  8. I doubt it that Mourinho is going to change much in the line-up aside of Ba and maybe Oscar.
  9. Find it funny people are complaining about Mata and Willian while this was one of our best creative performances in a LONG time. They both had there moments in the first half, and created an incredible chance just before the Eden Hazard show. Although Eden was on a class of his own, just imagine if all 3 where on fire! Willian and Mata still don't have the same match rythm as Eden, + it's still the first PL season for Willian with no pre-season and an almost wasted 6 months at Anzhi.
  10. Best Chelsea match of the season. Only our defence decided to not show up today... also Torres is back:(
  11. Idd, only that void pass was a blip (though with good intention). Almost saw Mata score when he received that pass from Willian.
  12. One of our better starts this season, and that away from home.
  13. Just ride this out too the break. Mata not wholy recovered yet
  14. Also liking Mata on the wings today
  15. Liking the team. This also confirms that Schürrle is just in front of KDB in the AM pecking order. Still find it strange though, seemed like a fan favourite of Mourinho in the beginning.
  16. Time will tell i guess. But the timing of Mourinho's sudden change of heart leaves me feeling kinda iffy, because the january transfer period is coming up. The december period also allows José to rotate even more, and imo its a win win situation for José. KDB will be fired up no doubt, and he might even get regular playing time this month, wich i predict will result in him deciding to stay at Chelsea. But in the long run i doubt it that he'll become a key player. Unless ofcourse he knocks this december period out of the park.
