Then he was really pissed, to drop even Hazard. Maybe that's the schock they need, that nobody has a guaranteed spot.

I expect Schürrle too start although i rather have Willian. Dunno what it is but i find him pretty overrated, he's excellent at counter-attacking play but that's it imo. Hope he proves me wrong, but i just can't see it. I hope José stays true to his words of not playing reactive tonight.

Mata! No surprise

Srry to say it, but we have too many attacking midfielders. O.K. we have depth, but the thing is you need to keep those players happy, also there's the matchrythm aspect. Especially Mata is suffering from this. Like it or not 1 of Mata/Hazard/Oscar/Schürrle/Willian will be leaving the club in the near future. Hazard is not going to happen, Willian/Schürrle is too soon and it would make us look stupid. So it will be either Oscar or Mata and to me it seems José prefers Oscar by a landslide. They both have their weaknesses but i hope 1 of them soon hits their stride where they both offer creativity whilst tracking back also. I hope they offload 1 of these 5 because they all would be certain starters at most clubs. These are not Marins, Benayoun lvl players who deserve to benched regurarly.

Well atleast we had a lesson learned today. This result will keep us both foots on the ground.

Idd, it also makes it harder for the players who start. A mediocre/lackluster performance tommorow and you're certain you will be benched against Shalke.

Mata tends to get a tad bit overrated because he is Mata and he scored a goal. Although he wasn't even the best player on the field (even in attack imo) against Arsenal. Same with Schürrle, he got a tad bit overrated last game because of his goal (despite his good run, it was a tap in). On the other hand, Mata deserves this extra bit of patience given how important he was for us in the last 2 seasons. Again for tommorow, nobody in our attacking line-up is safe at the moment bar Torres. And whatever AM trio bar KDB Mourinho chooses tommorow, any would make sense. Tbh, after the Schalke game we will have a much clearer view of who our main guy's will be up and till christmas period.

Gz on the callup. If the situation stays as it is come WC, ill be rooting for Brazil should Belgium be eliminated.

Mata and Willian deserve chances but at the expense of whom? I would even dare to say Hazard based on his last performance. But i trust José to make these hard decisions.

Great match. Holland reflected it the best, we won't now what our strongest team will be come next week/month etc. Willian was our best player, got a tad bit underrated in the media. Only Hazard imo rivals his technical ability in our squad.

Again hard choices for Newcastle. Both Willian and Mata impressed, Luiz was solid too.

Willian is good, KDB caught napping a couple of times. Some good interventions from Mata at the end. After our goal, Mourinho was ready to enter the break in a 0-1 lead.
