Dream start

This weekend is shaping up nicely . Come on Chelsea!
-
I think it bollocks... Would be very strange.
-
Mmm, dunno yet. It worked great last year, but it also sends a message to some players that they are no big game players in Mourinho's eyes.
-
Nope.
-
Mmm, strange that Oscar is not on the bench. Guess he is injured.
-
As predicted, hope we move on later in the season into a 4-2-3-1 against good teams.
-
Everybody is fit aside the Costa doubt.
-
I like this weekend already
-
If Torres leaves we need a third striker. No way Chelsea will let him depart if we don't have a 3rd.
-
Me too. Im right handed, but left footed.
-
So you can keep cheering for Torres ?
-
Agreed, im giving Everton too much credit. Hope we play 4-2-3-1.
-
Idd, dunno what i prefer. If it was up to me we would play 4-2-3-1 with Oscar in the CAM and Willian on the wings (no Ramires then), but im not sure if the team is defensively ready for that formation against top teams (im prolly giving Everton too much credit). Playing Everton, they will prolly have the majority of possession. Oscar offers work-rate and he should be fully fit, but he lacks the pace for a role on the wings imo. Willian offers the same work-rate + he can retain possession (+ not so prone to losing the ball). I think we'll have lots of space also, and that favours Schürrle, but he's not so good on the ball when under pressure.

R.I.P.

I think it will be either this: Courtois Brana-Cahill-JT-Azpi Matic-Fabregas Willian-Oscar-Hazard Costa (4-2-3-1) Or this: Courtois Brana-Cahill-JT-Azpi Matic-Rambo Willian-Cesc-Hazard Costa (4-3-3) I guess Mourinho wants to play it safe and use 4-3-3.

Good to hear he had a nice cameo. Brana, Willian and Ramires are performing well now that they have some competition for their places.
-
FML, forgot i have a late shift this weekend . Gonna miss out on the game and Formula 1.
-
I didn't argue the fact that the prize was warranted, just that he had lot's of suitors wanting to buy him, despite him not beïng a goalscoring machine.
-
Im not saying Oscar is shit, just that he doesn't have any qualities that really standout. He has a bit of everything, kinda like a jack of all trades (somebody mentioned it also somewhere). As a matter of fact i like Oscar, and he is very much suited to type of game we currently play. Also now that we have Cesc in the team, they can cover each other between defending and attacking thus lessening the burden for Oscar to be creative. The only issue i have with him is that he went completely of the map at the end of last season. When Oscar (also Schürrle and Ramires) are in a bad form it really shows, with Willian and other senior members of the squad (Matic, Terry, Ivanovic) you have a constant line in performances. Willian had some very good games last season (Southampton away, Stoke at home, City away,...), so him beïng jackshit is not true. Anyway, all im hoping is that Oscar and Schürrle can add some concistency to their game and Willian to produce more in the final third.

Most of them are boring

Care to elaborate? Or are you just here to dismiss the things you don't like without adding some argument to the ongoing discussion.
