Keep it up, that's all i have to say

Idd, that's why didn't get into the overhyping he received post WC. He's great against teams that don't press and won't dominate possession. He's very good on the counter though, especially against tired legs. Seems he left us exposed in defence too, Brana must've missed the cover Willian provides. Leaving out either Willian or Ramires seems a no go against decent opposition (not that they both have to start).

Goddammit, seems i missed out on a Costa hattrick
-
Nah, a boring 1-0 win please. I won't miss much then

Missing the game again, but happy enough ill get to watch the Schalke and City game

The brazillians are already back , thought they would join in on friday. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x25qs3b_headlines-courtois-signs-new-5-year-deal-hd_sport

That interview cringes me, why in the actual fuck does he want to become an assisting machine. Sometimes it looks like he lacks the ambition to be the best in the world. Don't undestand me wrong, he operates better when he doesn't have the constant pressure of beïng the teams "BIG" man, but to become the best he should relish that status.

Mmm, selection is gonna be iffy because the Brazillians had a long flight and they will not resume training until friday i guess. I think José will want to keep one of them fresh for wednesday. On the other hand, Willian and Oscar only played 1 half against Equador, wouldn't be surprised it was requested by Mourinho.

http://gfycat.com/PlainJauntyClumber That Neymar pass . I hope Willian keeps improving with those runs. Glad that he along with Oscar got subbed at half-time, because we need them fully fit/rested against Swansea and Shalke.

Oscar and Schürrle are still squad players for the big games. Look at Arsenal away, City Away, PSG away/home, Atletico away/home, Everton this weekend etc... and the results are there, why break it when it doesn't need fixing. Aside from the back four, Willian/Hazard/Ramires where almost always sure of a spot in these games. Im advocating for getting Oscar into the team in those matches but he'll have to fight for it and up his consistency same as Schürrle (though im not a big fan of the german).

Tbh, ill be surprised if Oscar starts against top oppositions. He has a pretty good ball distribution ability (not his strongest point) and he tracks back fairly well. But the biggest thing he lacks is the pace to close down opponents quickly, and pace in general. Look at the Everton game, every single midfield player was getting pressed hardcore after we went 0-2 up and struggled. Only our right wing seemed secure from a defensive point of view. Oscar also isn't the greatest when getting pressed, he even tends to lose the ball when under ample pressure. In big games we need players that can close opponents down quickly (disrupt their play) + retain the ball under pressure. Ramires can retain a ball but has bad passing skills, the main reason Mourinho uses him is because he's very good at disrupting play. Coupled with his incredible stamina he can keep goïng till he drops dead (and then some). We are never goïng to dominate possession, not even against teams like Everton. Oscar won't change that. I do agree though to start him against teams that don't play the pressing game, Arsenal is a big example.

Why not both in the same team ?

It was fun and all but lessons need to be learned! It's good that it happens early in the season. And Costa what a beast!
