So here's how the CL matches are lined up with the upcoming league games. Away games in Madrid and Rome on the weeks with clashes against Manchester clubs and the exhausting trip to Azerbaizan right before Liverpool away.

Probably the worst possible schedule they could've come up with.

We will have to take a calculated gamble travelling to Quarabag and leave a few players at home, maybe Tibo, David, Baka, Cesc, a wingback and Eden.

Yeah, all depends on how the group games have gone up until that point. If a win is severely needed to qualify then the best team must travel, but if qualification is already in the bag then maybe some players can be left home.

Either way, if it wasn't crystal clear to the board before today's draw then surely now even they realize that more depth in the squad is much needed.

Why would we leave Cesc at home since he is a back up midfielder??

Last season we were laughing at Jose's fixtures excuses and now we are doing the same.

My biggest worry is that we just don't have enough players for rotation... Just don't know if this is also an excuse or just consequence of stupid board.

just remember how hard Leicester made it for Atletico Madrid last season, we can do this. Cheers

Our full XI at home should have enough to get the job done.

Nice. Don't know how far Chels will go but some good battles in Europe regardless. Will be very interesting to see how Chelsea will fare against Atletico and Roma as I honestly how good this team is outside the PL.

Tbf, we already know that this Core group of players are not UCL savy.

Only one success against a big-boy UCL team and that was PSG 2014.

In '15 & '16 PSG were by far the superior team against us.

I think we'll def escape the group. But once the knockout rounds begin, I fear for our midfield/wingbacks.
