New signing David Luiz will wear the number four shirt for Chelsea.

The Brazilian defender takes the number that has been vacant since the departure of Claude Makelele in the summer of 2008.

I doubt he'll be playing on Sunday. He needs time to adjust to the league and I don't think he should be thrown in at the deep end. Plus, if we do play the diamond, we need Bosingwa at RB to provide width, and Ivanovic certainly doesn't deserve to be dropped from the team.

Also, does Luiz speak english? Good to see him standing with Ramires in the video there.

I agree with the posts above. I think he will be introduced as a late sub, depending on how things go. More likely scenario seems to be though that he'll be starting a league game against "weaker" opponents. Having said that, every game is a must for us if we are to catch Manchester Utd. I'm sure we'll give them a fair battle this season.
