Yes. My defense was shite without my best defender. You managed 5 chances which is 4 times more than anyone else this season.

See the problem with the cup is, when you're knocked out (especially early) you go 7 days without a game. Which means the newer users lose interest pretty quickly and it drags out the season. I'll put it up for vote when the season is over, I'm willing to give it a go, it depends on a. Active numbers & b. Consensus of the idea.

I don't mind cup games, I can give my 4 skill youths some games. Otherwise I never even allow 4 skill players on my team and pass up on all 4 skill youth prospects because they're too shitty to gamble on in the premiership.

Consider using them as pre-arranged subs, for the last 10minutes of a game. Constant form training is useful too.

If you keep their morale around 10+ then they're likely to go up in skill level. But form training can only do so much.

'Teamwork values' are one of the most important factors in this game. Each player in your squad will either have poor, fair, good or excellent 'compatibility'. This has nothing to do with actual skill level, but it makes all the difference in games. Over time players can become more compatable though.

More importance for teamwork

We have today increased the scale for the teamwork values allowing it to be more differences between the players and the teams. This means that the teamwork values will get more importance and some players will turn out to be very incompatible with the other players in the team and some players may take very long to get compatible.

The players in the existing teams will be stretched out on a quarter of the increased scale. But the players compatibility with each other will be sustained to some extent. So if you have a team where the players are completely compatible with each other then they will still be very compatible with each other all though they will be stretched out on the scale a little bit.

The closer the player's teamwork value is to the teams teamwork value the lower probability will it be that the player take a step towards the team's teamwork value after a match. And the further away from the player is the more likely it will be that he will take a step further and the player will be able to take up to 3 steps towards the team's teamwork value. This means that it will be less likely that all players end up on the same teamwork value.

On the transfer market the evaluation will show how compatible the player is with your team. It will be shown with 4 different grades: Poor, Fair, Good and Excellent. Most players on the transfer market will work poorly with your team. So it might be a good idea to make sure to evaluate the players you want to buy.

The recommended players you get in the mailbox will always have at least good compatibility with your team. Please note that the compatibility shown is valid for your team only. If the player has excellent compatibility with your team he may very well have poor compatibility with your friend's team.

If you have evaluated a player or placed a bid on a player on the transfer market before this implementation then the player will have at least good compatibility with your team.

Talents will always comes to the club with at least a fair compatibility. New teams will be created with players on the same quarter of the scale so that all player will be at least fairly compatible with the team as whole.

The teamwork values will get more importance on the player's performance. The difference in performance between a perfectly compatible player and a incompatible player is never more than 25%.

On each player's page you will be able to see the which player in their team part that the player works best and worst together with. When it comes to goalies it shows which defender that they work best/worst together with. This information will also be included in the tooltip on the squad page.

The team work bars shown on the match reports will be more sensitive. Until now the teamwork value bars almost always are between 15 and 20. But these bars will be more sensitive and the slightest incompatibility in the team parts will be detectable. Which enables you to detect a teamwork problem easier.

As this information about compatibility of the players on the transfer market only will be presented after evaluation then the evaluations will become more important. Therefore we have decided to reduce the costs of the evaluations and also increase the number of evaluation you can do.

The evaluation cost will be 10% of the asking price and at least 50 000 econ and at most 250 000 econ. The number of evaluations you can have at the same time has increased from 8 to 15.

The teamwork will get more important for the players performance in the matches. But we have decided to let the increased importance gradually increase over a month so that you will be able to get to know the new situation.

The divas will just as before be more reluctant to become compatible with the team. They will eventually get there but it will take much longer than a normal player.

Thanks for sharing. I find this a bit weird because my current top scorrer and assistor has poor campatibility and works worst with all my midfielders!
