Mark74 0
Evening all - I'm calling on the kind hearted nature of my fellow football fans on here with this thread as I'm asking you to support me on my efforts to help raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and help support a little 5 year lad in his brave fight against the disease. Now before you leave this thread could you please take a few moments to read my post as I'm hoping as many people as possible would be so kind to donate just £1 to the justgiving site and in return I will post a football programme free of charge once you have email me an address - As an added idea to anyone who makes the donation if you leave your name on the page of your favourite ever player I will do my best to find a programme featuring that player or his team. The 5 year old boy, Lucas on the just giving page is from is the son of a good family friend of ours Melanie Pritchard and I know from my own experiences with a serious illness to a child that the support given by family and friends and even more so total strangers really helps out and a very difficult time.Any support with this will be very much appreciatedhttp://www.justgiving.com/lucaspritchardKind RegardsMark

TrueChelseaBlue 105
Hi guys, I'm sorry i havent been around here much lately.. dont get time to get to my PC much now-a-days..But a friend of mine, Holly, brought this to my attention..It's a friend of hers, and could really use some help... For a very worthy cause indeed. Please help this little boy:About 3 weeks ago one of the U6 players at Newport Pagnell Town FC left training early feeling unwell.Since that training session he has been to the doctors 2 or 3 times and has now been diagnosed with Leukaemia. As you can imagine we are very upset; such a serious illness for a boy of only 5 years old to cope with. Yet our upset pales into insignificance compared to the upset and pain that he and his family are feeling right now.To this effect we would like, with the your support, to raise some money for him and try and bring him a little happiness at this difficult time. The Football Club are going to donate the gate sales from the match on the 9th October and we are putting a collection box at the bar. Please can you encourage your parents to support us by making a donation. We would really appreciate any help you can give.http://www.justgiving.com/lucaspritchard/eurl.axd/ebef4941527c844480e8e12a344e14dfLucas has been fortunate to have the wonderful support of Jules, Ian and all of his friends at NPTFC who have done an amazing job raising money to buy some treats for Lucas. Their generousity has been spreading throughout Newport Pagnell and beyond and there have been some wonderful fund raising events taking place. This page has been set up to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, we would like to raise this money so we can help to try and stop others from suffering like Lucas is now.If you could give anything at all, it'd be really well appriciatedThanks guys.
