Haha fair analysis, I like "does he do what you expect him" - However the point is, imo, he should be able to do more.. Because he's a Chelsea player, however this is not his fault.. So I don't blame him, my issue with Kalou is no longer directly at him, it's more of the frustration of his selection - So at Carlo :P

I hear you, I don't want him at this club after this season (like I said in the players u want in/out thread). I've tried and tried to be patient with him and defend him but now he's just undefendable (if there exists such a word :D)

But he's a Chelsea player so I'll support him and try to defend him when I feel others are mocking him for getting goals.

As for the last part; Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean you.. I just meant generally, when Kalou is criticised, someone brings up his stats as justification for his starting place.. That's all ;)

Cheers ;)

That, and beyond Ancelotti my problem is with those who brought Kalou to this club and extended his contract.

As for the Kalou debate, it's getting tiresome. Especially when some have the audacity to bring up his stats and how supposedly managers like him after these have been broken down, analyzed and refuted countless times.

Funny how after they run out of arguments, the Kalou lovers get all emotional and resort to insults or switching the target to things like a users age, his admiration for a player or even questioning his love for the club.

Here we go again with the insults...

Notice nobody other than you goes down this road.

You did the other day in another Kalou argument, Hypocryte.

So you value tap-ins higher than chance creation?

Kakuta hasn't made that many chances in the first team has he? Fair enough he hasn't got alot of time but he hasn't done anything special when he has, Where as McEachran, PVA and Sturridge have all impressed. Also Tap in goals are valued higher than Chance creation because about 70% of chances are taken, Where as 95% of tap ins are.

I think people like TX and Kostas don't want Kalou to have a good performance, everytime he does put in a good shift they never give it acknowledgement. Its like they want him to perform badley becuase it may drop him forsomeone like Kakuta, and so don't like it if he scores a goal or creates them.

As far as I'm concerned that's a lie, which you could have avoided by throughly reading the Match topics. Granted I've never wanked over a successful pass but I've both cheered and pointed out anything impressive he did on the pitch.

Well that's just bollocks.

I wasn't planning on quoting an example in that post but thanks anyway.

I'm sorry guys, but Kakuta's just had no end product to judge him from. However that is largely down to the lack of playing time he's had, so it is unfair to judge him for that. So people saying he is crap, like the people saying he is brilliant, have no argument at all. However, he cannot take a corner for shit. Lampard please. Kalou's scored a great number of goals considering how many appearances he's made from the bench - if you saw his goals-per-minute ratio I'd say it would be as good as Anelka at least.

Didn't Lampards goal come from Kakuta's corner? Sure with such corners he won't get many assists (JT's goal was an exception) but goalkeepers can't catch them and defenders are often uncomfortable with them.

Despite all those arguments on Kalou, I guess everybody should be agreed on at least one thing about him : we have to get rid of him as soon as possible...

For the record, I wouldn't mind relegating him to 4th/5th striker as with Borini out we don't really have any young strikers who need playing time.

yeah, firstly I was thinking this, but I guess his wage is way too higer for a 4th/5th striker... But if he's agreed for a cut wage, why not.

I can't wait for Kalou to leave and win the Ballon D'or then everyone regret selling him! Kalou has proved enough in his time:

Good ball.

But when is the last time he produced something like that? Kalou does have his moments of glory, I won't deny that. The problem is, they come rarely and it's usually one moment of glory, aside from that, he offers nothing.

But I too, like Kostas, grow tired to this debate. Max is right, he's a Chelsea player, and because of such fact, I won't boo him or any of that. I will cheer when he scores and take note of when he puts in a good performance (technically - none of this "heart" nonsense).
