Omg, when I have nothing to do, this thread rarely has any movement. Now, that I log in every 55min (my class time), I have to flick through 3-4 pages... :rant:

On the vast subjects...

1. Tarantino is a great director and anyone who says otherwise is just a cunt!

2. Tom, stop crying for attention. We all know you wont tone down your crazy memes! :Goober:

3. Manpe and Choulo with the most stupid argument I have ever seen. And look that to beat Leif and I, you guys had to outdone yourselves.

4. Dion, stop playing games, your avatar is gay and you know it. ;)

5. Fuck this new Jype dude, Pr22 was much better!

What good would it do? I don't really care enough, plus I know it would achieve nothing, you're one of the staff. I want to make you realize you were wrong, not to punish you. Tbh I didn't really care about your post until you attacked me, I didn't find it funny or noteworthy in any other way. I wouldn't even have let it drag this far, but your arguments/opinions really bothered me. They are wrong and I very strongly believe that.

I did not 'attack' you. I have nothing against you. You just made a post that was offensive to another member and I drew your attention to it because we want to keep a good positive atmosphere of fun and for everyone to enjoy the forum and honestly, I found it shocking that you would say such a thing straight to her. It was a silly incident that definitely didn't deserve all this argument. You just made a big deal of it by being so defensive.

Honestly, you could have just said that you did not mean to be offensive and it would have been forgotten by now instead of preaching about morals and calling into question the ethics of all human societies! :lol:

Since when did the Inglorious Basterds had the goal to be factually right? It is as if you argue that LOTR isnt good because Orcs dont exist!

For what the overall purpose was, it is one hell of a movie. It is not exactly about WW2, it is there only for some context (strong context, but still not the main focus of the plot). It has no intention to be verisimilar, the whole world is caricatured. Everything is a bit or very odd, including (and specially) the Basterds. The acting is good, the dialogues are even better and the sequence of events are incredibly smart (the smartest of stories and the ones that naturally follows its desired path without making the viewer think too much). There is nothing to not like about this movie, only if you dont understand the essence of it!

The problem with people that dont like Inglorious Basterds is because they are too narrow minded...
