Its done on a scale based on how important games are. So they will continue to fall without qualifiers.

They count less, I dont know the scale but a official match earn a lot more points than friendly.

Just like for Golden Boot, if you score in a major league you get a x2, if a lower league a x1.5 or even x1.

Anyways, who cares about FIFA Rankings....

I always asked myself why english fans downgrade their team. We have a ton of respect for English Team. Although we never lost, people were very nervous prior to 2002 quater finals...
