NishC300 1,865
Could you send me a link? That sit is definitely made up. Predisone can do a lot of harm but such allegations are a bit exaggerated. Not fake. I googled it. It's been written by good sources. He definetly had Addinson's since on of his Democrat party members found out but he hid his disease. It was on Discovery World(which is a reliable source) the documentary will also air on ABC. I didn't see it online it's called Altered Statesmen: KennedyWas on my way to swimming and the radio was playing some nonsense as soon as I am about to get off it starts playing coldplay. *facepalm*

zolayes 14,489
Sorry to hear that..... I saw Altered Statesmen: John F Kennedy. An amazing documentary that has a look at the side of Kennedy none of us know about. It has a look at how his rare endocrine disease (Addinson's disease) caused his 'reckless' behaviour and also looks at how it negatively affected his personal life. The reason being Kennedy would take an overdose of hydrocortisone for treating Addinson's! Moreover he also had chronic back pain because one of his legs was shorter than the other and a rogue doctor Max Jacobson told him of a cure. And he gave him an inject which contained (and he never told him that it did) AMPHETAMINE! Imagine if Kennedy would have gone into his 2nd terms. Nobody would have remembered him as he is now......... (Hydrocortisone had a part in the Cuban Missile Crisis too)that isnt news ...it was very well known soon after his death ... Stingray 9,441
For people that like really good, mind blowin documentaries: this is a recent one. By the psychoanalytical French lobby prohibited. A very confronting image about some psychology, some sorts of it anyway. Still now. It was a huge shocker in european psychology circle. Must see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuepZxJS7lY&sns=em

The_Flash 1,144
that isnt news ...it was very well known soon after his death ...This is true. I am quite a JFK buff. Odd they say hydrocortisone? It has an unlikely overdose risk, if it was topical, it is the mildest steroid. Yes he had many health issues but he was so passionate about being the President he would have pushed through anything. He had to take many different medications and wore a back brace. Sadly he endured many surgeries and most of his life he suffered many illnesses which were kept from the public for some time. Yes his health problems may have affected his moods sometimes, exhausted him as he tried to portray the young strong President in contrast to the old Nixon. However he survived the navy and of course being President, until his tragic death. His ambitions were too strong. He wasn't a saint but is a very important figure in history and yes in a different way had he lived but we of course can never know. Anyway if I start on about it I may never stop.
