Thanks mate but there's really no "care" to be taken when a guy drives a van full of explosives and detonates it randomly in the area where you live. You just have to hope that you don't happen to be passing near the van.

And all the rest of us can do is hope and pray that there is and end to the senseless violence. I will continue to do do both and to keep your family in my thoughts prayers. I know it is not much and some may not believe but I do.

@Rmpr, I think most lists I saw had Silva and Santos as the 1st and 2nd most common surnames. Pereira is also very common - it usually hovers between 4th-6th most common. There are several lists with the most common surnames in Brazil out there. This is from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_common_surnames_in_South_America
