steve5221 91
If it was me i would drop Lampard and play him there. He can however play on either flank of the front 3. Would Carlo have the guts to drop a fit Lampard though?
chrismada9 1,948
Would Carlo have the guts to drop a fit Lampard though? There was one game I remember in the FA Cup of 2005 when we lost 1-0 to Newcastle (Kluivert goal in the 3rd minute). Mourinho brought on Lampard for the second half, and I remember us performing a lot better, despite the fact that we couldn't score. Should Carlo drop Lampard, I reckon a 3-man midfield behind the attack like this sounds pretty goodMikelRamires - EssienAnelka - Drogba - Malouda Edited February 17, 2011 by CJ Revo
steve5221 91
I cant agree with you on Anelka mate, I wish Liverpool would have took him as part of the deal for Torres.

BlueLion. 21,491
 If believing that every single deal Chelsea make is a good one helps you sleep better at nights by all means don't let me stop you.Right now you're no better than everyone writing him off in October.I hope this is a generalisation...The fact of the matter is I believe Ramires is a superb signing. He has adapted quicker than I anticipated - and at 23 he can at least continue to perform at this level, or even improve.
Kostas 1,468
I hope this is a generalisation...Wrong choice of words. I meant all those who were.
BlueLion. 21,491
Carlo has admitted confidence is once again low and that there are only three players in form, or at least anywhere near their best - Cech, Ivanovic and Terry. I think this is unspeakably harsh on Ramires, who has, without fail, been our stand-out player in at least the last half-dozen matches. The fact of the matter is when you have only a goalkeeper, two centre backs and a midfielder in form, you can see why we've had such a bad season in comparison to last year. Form has gone out of the window for the most part, and confidence is non-existent.
steve5221 91
Ramires is an Essien clone - it has to be one or the other for me.....
BlueLion. 21,491
If that's the case, it has to be Ramires on current form.

wa-poke 0
His speed is really good ! and I see he can go to the balls before Everton's Player in last match. And he isn't effect by No.7 's Curse !!
LDN Blue 7,903
Essien on form is miles better than Ramires. Unfortunately since his injuries Bison has lost a lot of that form, and he's facing a gruelling test to recapture it.

His return is predicted mid-April. Surely things can not be as bad as now till then, I trust things will be back in our favour and so Bena will only be called upon to a) see out a 1-0 win with his experience or b_) Come on in the last 15-20minutes to try and change the game when it's 0-0. I'd be very surprised to see him in a starting role.
