Our fans are inferior to most top club fan bases its just a fact. The real Chelsea fans of years ago are priced out now, not many go and many have stopped buying season tickets because of the price of them. Our support in the 90s was fantastic, and to be fair we have a good away support. A lot of the fans at stamford bridge are middle to upper class people THEY JUST DON'T MAKE AN ATMOSPHERE AT ALL !

It's the same for every club not just Chelsea, nobody in the premier league has an amazing atmosphere at home every week.

Yeah actually I went to Stoke this season and I have to say it was pretty good. I've done every home game this season and to be honest theres not one league game I think back to that I would say was awful atmosphere wise. Cardiff in the cup and most of the CL games this year were the worst.

Stoke have the loudest fans I think, but they are fucking wankers as well.

Top teams don't have good fans or atmosphere in all honesty.

Our away support is great and I wish I had money to go to more away games, only been to two...Sunderland both times! fucking hell I hate that journey.

The best I've heard us this season (from the telly) was when we got destroyed by man city and only about 20 odd fans were left and singing as loud as I've heard all season, good stuff

Worst thing to happen to us was to play Inter this season. On the verge of of winning the first League and FA cup double in our history and too many fans are pining for the days of Mourinho..............

True. But then you get some working class nutter like me going there whenever I can afford it, singing my heart out and not being able to talk for three or four days after.

Yes we still have the working class fans but they cant go consistently. I have always thought that working class people treat football as life or death when middle class treat it as a hobby. I also think our stewards are idiots they do their bit to kill the atmosphere too !

Totally agree with you mate. Obviously I know there are more important things than football - friends and family for instance - but it still means shitloads to me. The working-class fans lose sleep worrying about the big game, or walk around with an idiotic grin on their face after winning a derby match. And it means so, so much. And there are times where we can't bear to watch and times where we'll scream at the players whether its from on the stands or over the television. And there are times where we'll cry with joy when we see trophies being lifted and last-minute goals that mean everything. That's what it is to support Chelsea, and I fucking love it.
