Blueboy 14
WHAT THE F, is happening this season.United have played several games without a defence without losing.Arsenal, injury-struck as always, closed the gap to 3 points in the mean time.Liverpool looked like they would rather compete for a place in the Europa League instead of CL.And Chelsea don't grab their chances to widen the gap at all.The competition is becoming stronger and stronger is my conclusion, but how big an impact is going to have that on the remainder of our season? Anyone knows what the hell is going on with the big four this season? If we got the results that we had in 2005 we would have already been champions by now probably
Laylabelle 9,534
It has been crazy! We should've ran away with it as well but seem to but go crazy and mess up chance after chance after chance. No one seems to want to win it! Arsenal were miles behind at one point and being written off and are now 3 behind and the belief again is back that they could win it and there is a chance they could its crazy!Anyone beaten anyone hell defintly a lot strongerAnd Pompy who though it,point deduction aside thought manage to stay up but they've been rooted to the bottom Edited February 27, 2010 by Laylabelle
Rambo 1,729
We usually do better near the end, let's just hope we haven't dug too deep of a hole to get out of.
Blueboy 14
Well, we have had a few strange moments earlier this season, against City & Everton both home and away. Even our win against Wolves wasn't that comfortable
boshman 1,073
I think it is just one of those seasons. They had one in the championship last year when there was about 12 clubs who had been top at some point in the season. OK, there has only been us, United and Arsenal top this year but the results are similar..... everyone can beat everyone.Usually it take nearly 90 points to win the league. This year i think we'll be lucky if anyone get above 80.
Laylabelle 9,534
Its crazy,a couple weeks ago we were what one point clear..and then went to four points and in the space of a week back to one!Defintly had a lot of strange moments..Wigan ffs! That was just bizareThe thought of Man U/Arsenal winning it mainly due to the fact we've messed up so many chances to extend the gap just gah!!!Still a while still to go and win point gaps still a gap at the mo.Fairly crap one but hey Edited February 28, 2010 by Laylabelle
EskWeston 696
I think the league is the weakest it has been for a very long while. Our squad isn't as strong as it has been, united are considerably weaker and that is why Arsenal are where they are at the moment. Really anything could happen but i expect us to still hold onto it, although injuries look like making it hard for us.
BlueLion. 21,491
On the contrary, I think this is the strongest it's ever been. Chelsea, United and Arsenal have not improved, but Aston Villa, City, Tottenham, Everton and the like have. Birmingham are testament to that fact. It's because the league is so competitive and equal this season that the Big Three have been beaten so often.

As far as the title challenge goes, it is the weakest it has been for a long while.
kakuta44 16
i will have to disagree with those who say that this is because the competition is stronger and because teams like astonvilla and mancity have improved ........ yes they did improve but what about wigan everton home hull city portsmouth i dont think those have improved at all .......let us be honest if united didnt lose ronaldo and tevez the league will be definitly a finished article by now .... the ugly truth is we suck .... united suck more .... arsenal more and more .... liverpool more and more and more ...........against man city in the 1st half we were the better side and how did we concede i just cant figure it out ...... mikel terry carvalho and hilario vs tevez and still he managed to put the ball in the net ......but that wasnt the problem because thats not the 1st or the 2nd time we concede a goal through some stupid mistakes just after we score and then lose our control and of course then lose the match .... it happened against astonvilla.... mancity twice.... everton three times in our home even against inter ...... we should know that keeping possesion like we do without scoring is very dangourus if you are not planning on scoring i would ahppily go and sitback like we used to do with mourinho and let the teams come to us and then we wll be the one who punish the through counter attacks ....afterall my main point is in a lot of situations we didnt lose to a betterside we lost because we were the worse side ............
