While it might make it unfair that the team that worked hard to get 4th place could easily not go to CL by the 7th seeded team that knocked them out through a lucky goal, it surely would make it more interesting.

Yeh lol!! Esp if Liverpool who finish far down end up going through...pretty much just a way to make sure they do get into Europe..least it aint happening this year though

It's a bit unfair on the team that finishes fourth. But having said that, it works in the Championship and so on.
