LDN Blue 7,903
I'm really happy with how Patch has come on despite his minimal playing time. In my opinion, he is the most-polished and competent of our young players right now. This boy has a great, great future ahead of him potentially!Well if the rumours about us an Coentrao, we might as well forget about him as his chances will be very limited :|
BlueLion. 21,491
I really, really hope they're not. Don't get me wrong, Fabio is a superb player, but we already have the world's best LB in Cole and Patch can potentially be his natural successor. They share a ridiculous amount of similar attributes. Kostas 1,468
Hoffenheim and 1. FC Köln interested in PvA ? Link Google's translation sucks so I hope one of our Dutch guys can help with this.
DYC. 7,542
I wouldn't pay much attention to it Kostas. VoetbalPrimeur isn't a reliable source, Dutch goal.com, at all and not a single quote in the article. But according to them, Hoffenheim and Köln want to buy PVA. PVA wants to talk to the Chelsea first but he wants to play more, whether that being at Chelsea or somewhere else (move to another club or loan). But Chelsea aren't keen on letting him go since he's homegrown and want to extend his contract, that expires in 2012.Pretty much something you and i could've written using our imagination. DYC. 7,542
You're right Kostas, PVA is really quick. I still remember that run he made vs Newcastle in the League Cup. Never knew he had that kind of speed Never saw Ash running that fast these last two years.Found a video. (around 1:30)
LDN Blue 7,903
(around 1:30)A bit Bale-esq isn't it. Knocking it well forward and chasing it with tremendous speed.
Kostas 1,468
That's exactly the run I had in mind, Esk or other regular reserve watchers might know more but that was amazing.

Madmax 9,219
From TOCFCW NEW DEAL FOR VAN AANHOLT Posted on: Mon 23 May 2011 Left-back Patrick van Aanholt has today (Monday) signed a new four-year contract. The 20-year-old scored against Newcastle in the Carling Cup during his first start for the club back in September, having made his debut as a substitute in 2009/10. He made three starts in total and five sub appearances before moving to Leicester on loan in January where he made 12 appearances for Sven Goran Eriksson's side, scoring once. The Dutch Under 21 international joined Chelsea in July 2007 and has also had loan spells at Coventry and Newcastle.
Term-X 7,891
Ashley has played in every league game this season, and should be good to go for another 2 seasons. Even then Roman will just sign a superstar left back to replace him.
