the wes 7,212
I would first of all like to apologise to all supporters of top teams in the premier league for our gutless team selection last night. I firmly believe the guy lost the plot last night, no excuse for changing every outfield position, yea we have another massive game Sunday, but what he did was IMHO un-acceptable. It can be argued that we were highly unlikely to get anything for Old Trafford, but, even Man Utd were weekened, although theirs was injuries, so I guess we never had a better chance! So what does gutless Macarthy do, put out a reserve side, throwing the towel in before a ball is kicked. As a Wolves season ticket holder for as long as I can remember, I have never been so embarresed as I was last night. I hope the Premier League really kick his a**e, for me its the biggest insult, basically saying to his first team they were not good enuff!!!Rant over......................... What do you guys think? Term-X 7,891
well if man-u do win the title, this was wolves simply giving the 3 points to them on a silver platter.
Steve 10,227
Bullshit, team selection. Made the club look stupid and also handed united a very simple 3 points.
Laylabelle 9,535
But they wont/shouldnt be punished.Like someone said in the paper today,Man U did it last year against Hull and also against West Ham one year second string and all despite them and other teams fighting to stay up.Sad they looked at the fixture and thought no way in hell we gana win cause until Man U got the pen they wouldnt doing to bad
Shane 2,275
If there first team couldn't beat uniteds reserves, what chance did they have of beating Uniteds best 11?
northernblue 2
But they did go on and win on Sunday.Whoever wins the league is not up to McCarthy, his job is keeping WOlves up and games like the Burnley game are more winnable than trips to Old Trafford. However it does reflect badly on the state of the game that he had to resort to such tactics. northernblue 2
Mccarthy was justified after they beat Burnley, they were unlucky against City last night though.
