Congrats on your results guys :) and I know what you mean about not wanting to celebrate when all your mates didn't do so well but hope you enjoy yourself anyway.

I got my A-Level results last Thursday and I got 3 B's beer.gif so have been celebrating all week. 19th September I'm off to uni in Birmingham!

Congrats!! :) You should be very proud and happy! From a teacher's point of view I'd gladly have had you in my class! ;)

I suppose, but I'm not really getting carried away - its my A Levels that matter the most. Still proud of myself, but I need two more years of hard work and a couple of relatively stress-free Chelsea seasons to do the best I can - no more losing semi-finals, please!

That's true, Alex.

All your hard work during your GCSE's will go to waste if you don't get the A-Level's you're wanting. A-Level's are what get you in to the universities you want to attend, not GCSE's (assuming you're wanting to go to uni, that is..). I know my AS-Level grades aren't what I could've achieved, and that's taught me a lesson already.

I need to really knuckle down this year to get back on track, so hopefully you'll work just as hard for the next two years as you have for the previous two! If you do that, I have no doubt that you'll get great grades at A-Level :D

Yeah, you'll soon find out GCSE's were a load of piss a few months into your AS Levels, and that you'll actually need to revise this time around!
