Quite a fall after the first game. The batsmen were undone by some poor shot selection. Not taking any credit away from the way Sri Lanka bowled.

I don't think the shot selection was the only problem. The pitch has really slowed up since the last match. I think India are in trouble because they don't have medium pace line/length bowlers like Sri Lanka. Zaheer can do that, but Yadav is a loose cannon, like Malinga.

Wow, we made it look so easy. I think if Dhoni and Pathan didn't try to slog out India could have batted out the full 50 overs and set something like 220 to chase, which could have been defendable. The problem with defending a score this small is you have to have the opposition on the rocks early, 220 would have given a bit more manoeuvrability. Top notch performance from Thisara and Mathews today, I doubted them but they came through.

Every team can lose a game, especially to South Africa it's now down to us to show how good we are. When we won the Ashes in Aus, every one of our 3 wins were by an innings +. It's good in a way to see England get smashed like that to see how we come back. Just a shame it's not a 5 test series. We're still better than you.

We're still #1 so tbh your post is very premature. If we lose 3-0 and lose all of em by an innings (like how we stuffed you) then the post would make more sense.

You are not the best test team. Your team is pathetic. Pakistan showed you up. And now South Africa hopefully will. Australia will stuff you again (like always) in the near future. Plus we drew a test series 1-1 against the true best side on earth not too long ago. Shows our (Aussies) incredible and utter dominance over the years that even after going on a long (a couple years now) bad run we are still the best ODI team on earth (Albeit admittedly saved by the rain but who cares). Shows you how truly massive the gap was between us and the rest.

We're still top of the test rankings so i don't even care and yes you were saved by the rain but that happens, you're top still so that's all that matters. If you wanna forget about actual facts about who is the best, as you say South Africa are the true best test team, i can just say that we're the true best ODI team. We had a bad test against a true world class test team, i would agree with you, South Africa probably are the best now. I'm not upset or bitter at all and truth doesn't hurt. Cricket is hardly something that would hurt me, only seeing Chelsea lose truly hurts me as football is my sport, i do take an interest in a lot of other sports tho but i hardly cried when SA gave us a good going over.

I'll just simply say well done to South Africa, they are world class but we aint finished yet. It would be very satisfying to see us win the next 2 tests even tho it seems unlikely, it's possible. I'd take 1-1 now, i'm sure we can win 1 test.

Let's not forget the pasting that you got in Sri Lanka, from a team with pub level bowlers. Lakmal and co are rubbish, Herath is the only decent test quality bowler we have.
