Yup. He was terrible but he was cleared of any wrong doing. He was just shit in that series

Surely though the 3 players convicted today can't be the only players in the Pakistan side who have thrown games??...

We have seen how incompetent the ICC have been dealing with this for years..

Both the Akmal bros as well as Wahab Riaz were named by that bookie chap who got done. There'll be more on the way, or atleast there should be. Ban the fuckers. Disgrace.

Jadeja's having some wonder game in the Ranji Trophy today!

314 of 375! It's a shame he won't make it into the test squad. I personally think he should take Yuvraj's place.

Jadeja is the Kalou of Indian cricket.

I thought he was selected in the test team. Yuvraj is the Joe Cole of the test format. So much promise and so many opportunities but he has failed time and again. They even dropped the poor lad Akash chopra who had formed a solid opening partnership with sehwag to accommodate Yuvraj but he has failed.

Bit harsh on Jadeja?! He went from villain (T20 World Cup) to hero (In the last year). He's improved his game a lot, especially his batting. We're lucky to have quite a few all-rounders, spin all-rounders too.

Agree about the test squad. I personally don't think Sehwag deserves a place, his form is horrible & injuries will have taken a toll on his game. It's a gamble, let's see if it pays off though. Hopefully Aaron will play. Good to see Rohit Sharma back too, he's been very impressive in the domestic game.

West Indies is just a warm up though. We must prepare correctly for Australia.

Australia is THE SHIT. My favorite away series. I love Australian cricket the grounds the crowd the commentators. Bill lawry and richie benaud' iconic voice in the commentary box. I just love everything about the australian cricket. The sheer competitiveness of it. And I want us to win it there.

Sachin to get his 100th ton in Australia. The team he likes to batter the most. You heard it here first.

LDN:

Jadeja has certainly improved no doubt. I personally don't hate him but most fans do post T20 WC.

Meaningless marketing gimmick. It's something that's better suited to a pub conversation ... 'Hey you know if you add Tendulkar's ODI and Test hundreds, he's on 99 at the moment!" Sad part is, everyone's falling for it. You simply cannot escape the constant focus on it here in India. Takes away from the team performance. News flash, India > Tendulkar.

Tendulkar is a true "Legend" of the game. He is the one of the few players who constantly performs when we play i outside of the sub continent and thats undeniable.

That's besides the point. My gripe is about the constant focus on this so called milestone. 99 or 95 or 75 or 125 hundreds wouldn't make him any more or less great. In the meantime, the efforts of the other members go unnoticed because people can't seem to comprehend that India > Tendulkar.

Tendulkar has been always greater than India for the last decade and a half. I don't buy into it. He is good but Team India is always greater than Tendulkar.

By the way. I wish someone could strike a death nail into Yuvraj Singh's test career. Big Flop!!.

Give chance to Pujara or Sharma.

Incredibly harsh.

I don't know about there, but here people were going on more about the consistency of Dravid & Laxman than Tendulkar's century. You must share the sentiment though, it's not just a milestone for Tendulkar, but for Indian cricket as a whole. It's one the whole country will share and embrace him, one Laxman & Dravid will say they helped with.

99 centuries is a feat that's a record that seemed untouchable. It's special and that's why there's a lot of emphasis on it, I don't believe it's clouding anyone's support of the other players.

Well you're lucky you're over there. The incessant focus on this darned century is about to send me looney. It started during the WC - "what better occasion than Pak in semis?" That changed to the final at Mumbai. That then changed to the Lord's. Then Delhi, now Kolkata. Now of course he's saving it for the home ground back in mumbai. Pfft.

And about Rahul or VVS, it's little more than a passing mention. If the WC was about "doing it for Sachin", everything after it has been about this hundred. It's like India is a side note, this guy's hundred is all that matters.

He was untouchable at 99, he will be untouchable at whatever he ends up with eventually. It tells us nothing more about him as a player than we already know. Meaningless, contrived 'milestone'.
