EskWeston 696
He has done well in the last half a dozen games. But like i said in another thread it is more than likely too little too late for him. He will still more than likely go in the summer so we can bring someone else in, as it would be a gamble to know which Malouda will turn up next season. Half a dozen games out of a season is not enough to warrant a stay next season i feel.
Fulham Broadway 17,363
A lot will depend on the last few games. If he scores a winner at Wembley or against Barca, for instance, he'll still be at SW 6 come 2009-10...

If you look at our squad you would say (and we have been saying it for a few seasons now) that our wingers need improving. Joe Cole will stay 100%, i think there is a chance we could leave a spot for Stoch and Kakuta to utilise, and i think both Kalou and Malouda are at risk of being replaced. Kez 2,727
A few good games does not make up for 2 years of lazyness... I still want him to leave

changingman2000 35
He hasn't done nearly enough and should be punted at the earliest. Should have flogged him and kept SWP.
SystemBlueBob 0
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...a.html?ITO=1490 Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has dismissed suggestions he is ready to quit the club. The France international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after struggling to find his best form in west London. But Malouda, a £13.5million signing from Lyon in the summer of 2007, insists he has no plans to leave Chelsea. 'I still see my future at Chelsea,' he said. 'Everyone is talking about my future but I will stay here for a long, long time.' The 28-year-old was part of the Chelsea team that lost last season's Champions League final against Manchester United in Moscow and is determined to go one better this year. 'Everyone is thinking about the final we lost against United in Moscow last year,' he said. 'Our target is to reach the final again and win it. We know it won't be easy to beat Barcelona in the semi-finals but we have to be ready for that if we are to deserve to win the competition.' Ollie 4,400
I still think hes shit. Yes in the last 4 weeks hes been very good and in big games too but hes just having a little purple patch. I can't see this form lasting really. He's gotta keep it up for him to have a chance of staying. If Guus stays, he'll probably keep him because of how he's played under him. He hasnt really seen the shit version yet like we have lol
EskWeston 696
I would like to see us go for a different "type" of winger anyway. Someone more direct, i know we keep going back to it but when we had Duff, Robben and Joey we were unstoppable and our formation clicked perfectly. It was the speed and skill of our attacks which let us play some fantasic counter attacking football and we were not stuck with the slow build up play we see more often than not now. Alee. 182
If Malouda can keep up this form, i have no problem with keeping him in the Squad
