Milan today confirmed that they have agreed initial terms with Ronaldinho regarding a summer transfer from Barcelona to the San Siro. The Brazilian, who has also been linked with switches to Chelsea and Manchester City, is thought to have been offered a four-year deal worth in the region of £6.3m per year."There is a general agreement with the player," said Milan's chief executive Adriano Galliani, who will now open talks with his Spanish counterparts. "Now a deal has to be reached with Barcelona. Give us time."

Fenerbahce coach Zico says Chelsea should sign unhappy Barcelona star Ronaldinho.

Zico said: "Chelsea have a team of international stars, some of the best players in the world, but maybe something is missing. They need a player like Ronaldinho, a magician. He is still young [28] and he has qualities nobody else has. With his technique he would be a success anywhere in the world. "Coming to play in England would be good for him, too. His time is up in Spain and he needs to go somewhere new for motivation."

Chelsea and Milan are still interested in signing Barcelona star Ronaldinho, according to the player’s agent.

The Catalan giants look set to sell the Brazilian and Manchester City have been the most vocal in their desire to sign the forward.

Chelsea have been long-term suitors of Ronaldinho, but their major concern at present is to find a new manager.

"City want him, but there are other clubs still interested," Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Robert De Assis is quoted as saying in the Catalan press.

"Chelsea wants Ronaldinho and Milan has still not given up on hiring him."

De Assis says that he does not expect his brother's future to be resolved in the short-term.

"There will be no important news about Ronaldinho in the coming days,” he added.

"He wants to holiday quietly in Porto Alegre [his hometown] and wants to recover well and not rush his recent injury."

Ronaldinho's brother and agent has hinted that the Barcelona forward could link up with Luiz Felipe Scolari at Chelsea.

On Wednesday, Chelsea announced that Scolari, currently in charge of Portugal, will succeed former boss Avram Grant at Stamford Bridge after Euro 2008 on 1st July.

Speculation has already snowballed over which players the former Brazil manager might sign in a bid to rectify the club's failure to land silverware last term.

And Ronaldinho has emerged as the latest name to be linked with a switch after his brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, failed to rule out a transfer.

The two-time Fifa World Player of the Year is expected to depart Camp Nou this summer, with Manchester City recently granted permission to open talks with the 28-year-old.

But a move to Chelsea could prove more desirable for Ronaldinho after he worked under Scolari during Brazil's route to 2002 World Cup glory.

"At the moment Ronaldinho is taking a complete break at home in Porte Alegre," De Assis told The Sun.

"There are options for next season and obviously he knows Scolari very well and they have enjoyed great success together.

"We'll see what happens but my brother will be ready for next season."

he`s only 28 worth a l@@k

Worth more than a look!! Scolari is just the man to get him back to his best. At the cut down price he is available for now, there is no reason why we shouldn't just go for it.

Only 28! I thought he was 30! In that case, he has plenty of time to turn his career around. I've always liked 'Dinho ever since I first saw him when he played for Paris Saint Germain, even when he is off form he has the ability to do incredible things. So in that case I'd like to see him come to the Bridge.

But imagine if he signed for us. Under Scolari with magic football, with Ronaldinho and Joe Cole raping full-backs, sending in ball after ball for Drogba to knock on :o And then imagine a free kick  Ronaldinho, Lampard, Drogba, Coley, Alex or Ballack?

His finishing is awful? Have you seen some of the goals he's scored this season? Even Ronaldo couldn't finish like Cole did against West Ham both home and away, and Blackburn and Everton away.

And no, he doesn't disappear in big games. If you're basing that on evidence of the last few games of the season, he disappeared entirely against every team because he was absolutely knackered. Cole played 54 games last season, and ran himself into the ground in the vast majority of them.

But on evidence of last season on the whole, if Joe Cole isn't good enough for you then maybe the rest of our squad isn't, because bar perhaps Carvalho, Cole was the star performer of last season.
