Mancienne: Chelsea Access Denied Rangers loan star Michael Mancienne has been told he can't feature in January's FA Cup third round clash against his parent club, Chelsea.Under the terms of the loan agreement with Queens Park Rangers, Michael has permission to play in the FA Cup for QPR; however, the player is not permitted to play against Chelsea in the competition.Other Chelsea loan players Scott Sinclair and Ben Sahar deals expire before the big game, nevertheless, should they extend their stay, expect similar clauses in any new contract.

Makes sense, would be shit if he put Lamps or JT out with a clumsy tackle for 6 months.......

Well it was always going to happen, hardly ever these days are loan players allowed to play against their parent clubs, which is understandable.

I would let him play, great experience for the lad. If he actually stopped us from winning, then we'd just call him straight back from the loan and shove him in the first team .

I think if he played and wanted to impress against us he would be giving his all. That would mean going into every tackle fully committed, which could result in an injury to as I've said before, one of our main players, which would weaken our team.

Absolutely, you can understand the clubs point of view on this....it isn't generally a good idea to let your loan players play against you.
