It was a bit strange to play Lesley as an 8 and Santos as a 6, but eh, preseason is exactly where Maresca can try some weird shit and see how the players do. Playing Chilly as a LB/LCB was the weirdest thing by far to me - felt like a desperate last ditch attempt to see if there is a role for him. Surely he's got to be sold asap - probably shouldn't have even made the tour.

I find it tedious and a bit sad that anyone is panicking or reading a lot into the season ahead at this point. Club does bring this onto themselves a bit by making preseason a big deal and trying to commercialise it, doing tours in USA, and what not. But preseason is literally about fitness and working on strategy, giving all the players a chance to get some minutes.

At least 30% of these players shouldn't even be here. They should of stayed at Cobham sorting out their loans/transfers.

What concerns me is the amount shit we have stock piled yet they come out on tour when you know fine well they are both shite and will be on loan or sold
