BlueLion. 21,491
Thanks for that Jim. I hope the supporters show him a lot of respect and admiration, because he is the sort of confidence player who wants to be appreciated by the fans. BlueLion. 21,491
Theres a photo of him on the main site wearing no. 18. Thats a possibility but I remember seeing SWP wearing number 7 in training before going for number 24.

chrismada9 1,948
yeah if there's a number on the player's training gear, it doesn't always mean they will use it as their squad number
the wes 7,212
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp held talks over the transfer of Inter Milan forward Ricardo Quaresma only to be pipped by London rivals Chelsea. Spurs chief Harry Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "I spoke to Jose Mourinho on Sunday night for half-an-hour, had a great conversation with him on the phone. "He was helpful as usual, and he said, 'Yes Harry, you can have him, no problem'. "But then Chelsea came in out of the blue, so it was difficult. He is an exciting player and I am sure Chelsea have a good loan player."

Respect needs to be earnt, we shouldn't boo him and get on his back from the start..but respect needs to be earnt. We showed Shevchenko respect because we knew he was trying hard and to be fair to him he was playing quite well until he got injured. If he is going to be lazy he might as well go now if you ask me. To do well in a league like the Premiership you need to work hard and if Quaresma is not going to put the effort in he might as well not be here. SamCFC 0
Very happy, so much better than Malouda and Kalou. Offers more width and flair and could be what we need. And its only a loan so its a win/win situation.
Elliott 7
I'm not VERY happy but I am somewhat happy. He is better than what we have in theory so that's positive.

Steve 10,227
Cheers Jimla! Quick poll, on the whole, everyone happy with this now then? I am happy with the signing, for the main fact we where all asking for a winger and that's what received so i am not going to complain one little bit, sure he may have a few things that he can improve on. For example crossing and passing with his left foot or even just working hard but this man has got the potential to be one of the worlds best if he can get the right work ethic happening.
