I think Portugal is overrated. Too many gaping holes and not physical enough which can also be exploited.

That ball was going in the box where was Havertz and 4 Denmark players. So very low chances of goal so no pen. If he was alone I would give it maybe.

They say defense wins tournaments but someone also needs to score. France MF is Tcho, Kante and Rabiot. Zero goal threat. Wingers last game Barcola and Dembele also useless. It is the same with Thuram or Kolo Muani. Their best chance is to start with Giroud and Griezmann besides Mbappe.

Yeah the handball rules are really weird atm. It's like defenders need to relearn how to play.

Disagree. I think compared to most other teams they have plenty of weapons to score goals. They play, like you said, with a bit extra protection in midfield, which usually works well in single elim. They have freaking Camavinga sitting on the bench.
Belgium are heavy underdogs for this one; they have to play their best game and Courtois needs to have monster game for them to have a shot.

I feel like their main weakness if Martinez. How this man got another top job after his spell with Belgium is beyond me.

Ah did not know -- thought he was was just being rested given his CL run and return from injury. wow!

Yeah, I don't think Martinez is a top coach, not many top coaches manage National teams for a reason. I do think both Belgium and Portugal were and are overrated tho; both teams have great/elite players in a few positions. but lack quality and depth in others. It's a bit easier to circumvent this in the EUROs, but depth becomes a bigger issue at the WC not to mention Brazil, Argentina, and the usual third force from SA (lately Colombia).
CR7 also provided that height and physicality the portuguese team usually lacks, but he's old now, so.
